Rooftop Rumble Apocalypse

I swear on the day this mission gets nerfed or removed from the game is the day when it's going to be WW3 on these forums. Just think about it, we all rely on this one mission on ranking up and getting tons of money. Without it how will be able to purchase all of the new content coming out in the future? Just something to think about.

 

Let's all just hope that day never comes, like heists

I for one hope it gets nerfed/removed, I despise that mission. It's boring. I prefer to play every mission, be it Gerald, Trevor, or Martin. In the event this mission comes up I'll play it, however.

 

The best part of a nerf/removal, is that I wouldn't be put in and possibly kicked every damn time I join a contact mission, because this sh*t is all anyone plays.

I really dislike Looftop Lumble. I started throwing molotovs nowdays just to let everyone scream in pain. Sure i fail the mission sometimes and get kicked. But at least its fun seeing everyone and everything burn.

Yeah I don't get the people who just kick people as soon as you join, there's closed sessions for a reason man.

 

The way I see it is if they ever removed/nerfed this mission is that they should also increase and balance out all payouts for all other missions to actually make them worthwhile in doing.

 

Cause ATM it's just ridiculous ATM how a simple 3 minute mission pays 18 grand while a much harder one that takes way more time to do pays less.

There are other missions out there that we'd turn to, but RR is the best for all three factors: RP, Cash, and Time. There are others that are good on two of the three, but not really all of them. We would just have to decide whether we wanted to play for cash or for RP. But RR isn't going anywhere, they already opened Pandora's box and they'll get some serious backlash if they try to close it

Yes we have, and then realized that it was because the name of the mission was not supposed to be for this one, shut up.

Life has a funny way of moving on. If they nerf RR, we move on to the next thing, whatever that may be. Sure, we may have to decide if we want RP or $ and choose our grind accordingly, but the need for cash will propel the masses to farm the new best thing.

 

If R* were to balance payouts according to the average time taken to complete the missions, we would see a better variance of missions played regularly. Then, the little RP events R* run would also have a greater impact, and thus more people would participate.

The geniuses at rockstar will look at the data and figure this is the type of job we like and will not only keep it but create more crap like it.

Pac-man or asteroids is way more fun than rooftop rumble and they are 35 years old.

I rarely host a mission and wait for people to show up (I might have done that.. 3 or 4 times since the release of the game). I always join missions through the cellphone.... and the only mission I've seen for the last couple of weeks is rooftop rumble. I would say 95% of the time...

 

Whatever happened to Landing Gear, Stocks & Scares, Sinking Feeling, Docks to Stock, etc ?

 

Of course, I'm rich because of glitched money and don't need to farm RR. I just want to have fun doing missions with more of a challenge than RR

Those missions you said are much more fun, why people don't play missions for fun ? Some can be great and requieres teamwork.

@OP, I hope they don't, RR is a good money press, and when I find other people playing other missions they are there actually having a good time instead of raging over when people screw up, it's laughs and guffaws and manic laughter everywhere. it's great

 

RR is for grinding money, which means every other mission is for fun. I don't want it spoiled because of a few people's dislike, don't like it, then don't play it but don't penalize me for your hate.

I just don't get why Rockstar decided to get rid of the other good farming missions of Coveted and Potshot. At least back then when you joined Quick Job it wasn't just Rooftop Rumble 95% of the time.

 

I reckon they should just nerf it to something like 2800rp and 13 grand or something. And then re adjust some of the harder missions in the game like Teaser Tralier and Base Invaders and all that to have higher RP and payout.

 

Payout and RP should be based on how hard and how long it takes to complete the mission rather than your rank. It's annoying now when all the people on your friends list just keep messenging you for Rooftop Rumble lobbies.

 

Man I can't wait till Heists to finally come out so everyone can just earn decent money and RP and be happy. Cause let's be honest grinding the same boring mission over and over again is not fun.

 

And no I will never ever buy a shark card. That's just being silly
