Prison Thugz Fight

I played Prison Thugz Fight for the first time today. Previously I had avoided it, but I thought I'd give it a go. I broke even on kills and deaths spamming circle but obviously I'd like to do better. Can anyone explain the melee combat system? Block, punch, kick, etc? I haven't been able to find a good tutorial. Thanks for your help, as always!

Well, due to the lag that this game has, all you will get it's air kicks and air hits.. lol. However, I'd recommend you to dodge the punchs the other guy it's throwing at you, and then counter attack.

The melee mechanics suck in this game, as far as that map, don't even get me going. The less people in any melee match, lets say a 3 on 3, you wont have as much lag as you would with a full 16 player lobby. It's still no bargain, I did melee only just for the platinum award, and I avoid it like the plague now. Almost every user created map I land in is melee, or if it's a gun match the tool bag host usually has a fleet of tanks hidden somewhere. User created ones in general I avoid .

If it's a melee match with forced + pickup weapons OP, the nightstick is your best friend, over the knife or the bat any day.

How?

 

 

To lock on to a melee opponent whilst unarmed, hold L2. Then when you see them "winding up" for a punch, press (or spam) square to dodge their attack, then immediately attack them for a successful counter-attack.

One does not simply win at prison thugz fight. Sure, there are players that get the most kills, but no one wins.

Climb the ladders and get outside so you can grab one of the motorcycles.. then run everybody over including your teammates. Makes for very interesting conversation

 

This DM is a f*cking 100% disaster.. there's no tips or advice that will help you while being lagged killed.
