I would wear full tactical gear without pants in protest of this DLC.

Good, it will make it easier to shoot your guy in the balls in objection to his protest.

My guy's balls have been shot off a long time ago. He keeps his grenades there now.

Even better. Shoot his grenade balls and blow him up in the most humiliating fashion possible. :D

Good point. He should start keeping them in an alternate universe like everyone else.

We already have CoD and Battlefield. Play those instead.

Seriously. It's like playing old school Doom. Your character has an advanced warp storage backpack that allows them to teleport all their weapons to their hands instantly. I kind of wish they'd handle the weapon situation like Army Of Two did. You had a rifle or shotgun or SMG, a pistol, 2 grenades and one special weapon choice of a sniper rifle, a grenade launcher or a missile launcher.

Hey, Lance, you're avatar is wrong. You're supposed to be a black guy.

Also, again with the CoD and Battlefield bullsh*t. How will the turn the game into CoD or battlefield? Answer me that.

I don't really care, I like the convenience. GTA is not the kind of game for that I think, having every weapon you want within your reach makes it easier to wreak havoc.

it also hinders your ability to quickly pick the best one so that you die as youre scrolling through them. you only really need a few weapons, the rest suck so bad they are never used and are only cluttering up the weapon wheel. getting out of a vehicle defaults you to the mini uzi which aint worth a sh*t ever instead of the combat mg which owns fools, that right there has cost me time and got me killed numerous times. then when you start a new session it always defaults to the sh*ttiest weapon in the group you have so every time you play you gotta set the weapons and every time you crash and reload you gotta do it all again, very annoying after a while considering you never use most of them, why keep them in the way? it only hurts your response time in battle.

Eh, having every tool for every job takes the strategy and tactics out of the game a bit. But, the game is what it is.

True but this is hardly a game about strategy and tactics.

The only thing that would be needed for that is for the game to remember your last selection. I do agree it's definately a very annoying problem.

that would be infinitely helpful, and not defaulting to the sh*t weapon you are forced to use in car once you get out of it. keep the selections separate.

Maybe, maybe not. Any game that has combat in it involves some sort of strategy. Granted, most people tend to just run in gun's blazing, shooting at anything that moves or they can lock on to. However, I have found that when I face off against people who know how to use the terrain, cover and are actually paying attention to what they are doing, those people tend to be extremely hard to kill.

Definately. But that's about as far as it goes. This is no Rainbow Six or Battlefield in terms of strategy.

I've played both of those and you don't see much strategy there either lol.

Last Rainbow Six I played was Raven Shield (single player, don't even know if it has a multiplayer). That game was all about strategy. You could really carefully plan the mission before you started it using different teams and all kinds of tactics and very detailed orders. In BF3 there was indeed not a lot of strategy going on but the potential was definately there if you were to play and communicate as a team (I never did that).

its already like brokenfield 4 with the tank and jet wars in freeroam.

Sure, the more clothes the better. I'd like to dress up as a soldier in flecktarn camouflage uniform with balaclava, helmet, gloves et cetera. A camouflage weapon tint would also be nice imo.

I would like to see stuff like this, the camo for guns would be nice too.

So what percentage of players do you guys guess would start wearing this tactical gear?

I would start wearing it as soon as I bought it.

So what percentage of players do you guys guess would start wearing this tactical gear?

about the same as the knobbers currently wearing camo pants and vests, roughly 2 percent.

I think it would be more because if you try to look like a military guy now you end up looking like you're in an elementary school play. If they made it better more people would probably wear it.

I wear camo short and camo body armor though, but with a purple top hat and a purple tank top. :p

I don't know about the rest of the gear, but people would most likely start wearing the better looking combat armor for sure, as well as the better looking caps and the gloves. Right now, our characters look silly and/or pathetic especially if you're trying to go for something other than "scrungy gangsta" or "out of place businessman" or "Richard Simmons' special friend".
