Good post I tried to make a jet death match against the computer cause my friend need practice flying lol so I placed a actor in the jet and he drove it straight into a building and killed himself lol

Every time I test my capture I get random wrecked buses and blue barriers appearing all over the place. Also, random props I keep disappearing each test.

 

It's irritating because before I start the test I save so if everything flips out I can exit and re-enter (so it doesn't save the chaos) But no. For some unknown reason, all the destruction saves itself...

 

I've been wasting my time for over an hour now re-testing but every time I do it, everything changes. So for those also experiencing this, if you find a way to prevent this nonsense from happening, please feel free to share. I'm losing my mind.

This creator made me realize how terrible R* is at making missions. The NPC placement is a perfect example... respawn, accuracy, etc.

 

Those assholes must have put respawn ON and accuracy at HIGH for contact missions like Stocks and Scares, Dry Docking, Landing Gear, and all of the other high-level missions. They need to release the mission creator so we can make some missions where we can get rid of the infinite Grangers and Lost bikes!

I have been playing with the creator and found a way to respawn vehicles, however it's less than perfect

 

Unlimited respawning neutral actors will keep spawning their assigned vehicles. However they keep their hostility when respawning making them an annoyance until the vehicle is destroyed.

The actor will respawn in the vehicles place, but not the linked vehicle until it's destroyed.

There are some definite improvements that could be made and I've had only a short time using cap creator, but I've had a decent experience with it.

 

I've always been a fan of objective game types and I was hoping this might increase the people playing capture. Since the double rp and cash I've had some great games, but the number of people playing is still low. Should R* arguably waste their time perfecting the creator when you can create capture game types successfully with it? Probably, but that's a bit idealistic. My guess is stuff like this keeps people playing a little longer and reminds them that heists are coming, which is what I am most looking forward to.

Properly respawning vehicles is honestly the only problem I have with it thus far.

It's made all my ideas impossible.

People need to remember that the creator is in BETA, that means it's in it's testing phase and will constantly get updated. Could it have more? Yes. Is it bad? No, it's far from bad. It's the only thing we have seen on GTA to be able to make our own things.

thx for reminding me, i was gonna agree with OP but it is beta so i guess its part of being a beta.

For people saying the problems are because it is still a Beta Test:

 

THERE IS NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF BETA IN THEIR ENTIRE NEWSWIRE POST OR PDF GUIDE!

 

In every piece of media I have seen Rockstar are 'marketing' this as a fully completed feature, there is no mention of it being in development, with work to improve it, or that bugs are likely to occur and should be reported. The only place it says beta is on the very first menu, I have not noticed it anywhere else, neither in game or in R*'s media.

 

I think it is just an ALIBI for not completing the work as well as it should be.

It have many limits, an actor up to 10??????? The engine have limits what it can hold, if Grand Theft Auto 5 ONLINE expanded to PS4 or XBONE. There can be a remaster version of GTA//O, HD textures, enhanced gaming mechanics, possibly ONLINE re-works.


 

So it seems that the capture creator was actually on everyone's consoles on tuesday, but rockstar just didn't activate it.

When I saw that the creator was available early, I thought that it was just a mistake, and that the finished completed capture creator would be downloaded in new a patch on friday, since this made it evident they sent everyone this capture creator and the associated creator description with 1.12 on tuesday, but surely delayed releasing it because they realised they had to fix it.

 

But no, R* will be R*: spend more time promoting glitching youtubers and pointless crews than on fixing their broken and incomplete game's content additions...,

Here's some vital things which are wrong with the capture creator, I say 'wrong' because I know they can be fixed and they are not due to hardware or game engine limitations, but R* themselves withholding capabilities of the creator (as additional evidence, many of these problems are not present within race or DM creator, and ofc R*'s full mission creator).

 

Try emailing Rockstar's email to submit a request problem whatever it is
