ClaudeTheWolf
I don´t know if i posted in wrong topic, but still listen me up. I played some DYOM storylines and mission packs. The story of these are complete insanity. Like for example in one mission pack you are a secret goverment agent....how that fits into GTA? Can someone like post a decent mission pack here that is GTA styled, like this: A former mexican gangbanger, gonne back into his home: Los Santos. With the crack outbreak, his homies are heading into disaster. He does some small-time jobs for his friends in El Corona to make them take back control of the streets. As he gets more cash and friends he makes a quest to control all of gang warfare in LS. He´s gonna rise to the top, make his friends envy him, and....betray him. This is a example of a GTA styled story. a small time criminal begins his way as a pickpocket and then makes his way to the richest of the rich. Can anyone provide me a story like this? Satourn
Can anyone provide me a story like this? We can. There are plenty of stories based on criminals, drugs, shootouts, ghettos etc. Look up 'The Flats' by BK90's. It's actually a somewhat DLC for SA, but from the Ballas' view, or 'Episodes From Las Venturas' by LnDProductions. Those are by far the best criminal-themed mission packs. But there are many mission packs and storylines that aren't GTA-themed and still kick ass. You might want to change your mind about those stories that you think of as insane. Chips237
DYOM is not supposed to be GTA. It's freedom, you can become what you want. Take Road to Justice, for example. A cop becomes a criminal/street racer, that can be considered a GTA.
SoftTouch
You design what ever you want. It doesn't have to be espiacially just crimes.

I really support this to be honest. I kind of miss the GTA Style storylines such as The flats and so on, and I guess that's why im working on one. You could try The Flats. It's a really great GTA themed storyline. However, you must understand that designers are free to create whatever they want. It does not neccesarily have to be GTA style, if a person can come up with something unique and not overused (such as army-themed mission packs) it might beat any GTA theme storyline.
