Gta online feels like a survival/apocalypse game

Supplies are hard to come by? Not sure what you mean by this.

The people intentionally killing other people is downright annoying but that's how they are these days. Some of them like to hide behind their monitor/tv and wreck havoc on people and actually get a kick out of it, which is kind of sad really. Gotta love those "it's what the game was made for" comments.

Captain Revenge

There is always closed friend, closed crew and solo game sessions that just feel like normal life, and normal all depends on your perspective and current neighborhood. Even some really good missions u can grind out on your own. Rooftop Rumble, Extradition, Trash Talk and Los Santos Connection. After each mission in sends u back into the session u left.

If you played GTA IV online then you'll remember that's ALL you did in public free roam, shoot/run over/blow up each other. The first day I played GTAV Online I still remember coming out of LSC after selling a car and getting stabbed. Ever since then if anyone I don't know gets too close to me I kill on sight. I rarely go after people for no reason but I'm not about to let anyone get any free kills off of me.

But then even when I'm on missions I've noticed people intentionally running over other players or trying to shoot them or their cars. There are simply too many idiots playing this game to let your guard down, but that's why it's a game about criminals and murderers. :)

Nope. Fallout 4 isn't out yet. I think it's more like the movie "Purge". Just 24/7....

Here we go again. Why complain! you can go into solo sessions or invite only sessions. If you go into open sessions it is a free for all and yes muddeprived, it is what the game is for. If you look on social club you can see that you can get awards for kills using different weapons. 30 platinum awards gets you an xbox achievement. So yes, it is what it was designed for, the makers built it into the game.

If someone kills you in an open session, then hunt them down and get your revenge. The only time people like this annoy me is when they kill you and then immediately quit the session.

Don't Trust Anyone is a good rule to play by in this game. Just last night one of the people I play Rooftop Rumble with was having trouble hosting the game, and one random player and I were sent back to freeroam while he was levitating in the RR lobby. So while waiting for another chance to join that mission, I stood next to the random player who was sitting in his car, and got my combat shotgun ready in case he tried anything. Sure enough he first autoaimed a sub machine gun at the floating mission host, then fired the last few rounds from it's magazine at me. His stopping to reload gave me more then enough time to put him down with a three round burst from a combat shotgun. Third shot might've been overkill, but it made sure he was dead.
