What should I do when I facing a P-996 Lazer?

Aim in front of the jet and wait for it to fly into the reticle and then shoot.

I don't understand how someone in a tank could get shot by a tank, all you have to do is attack directly from above whilst firing your cannons, and then fly straight back up so they can't shoot you down. As long as the tank is not on a tunnel, you can blow it up in 5 seconds.

Sometimes for a moving target, you have to adjust an angle. Most twankers won't hit you, but it is not unheard of. Lights, trees and telephone poles get me more often.

Those telephone poles are dangerous, you never notice them and you end up crashing into them before you know it.

I make fair use of the jet as well and consider myself an above avarage pilot. The only thing that makes me back- off is a skilled sniper. I am very careful when engaging a player on foot above level 90. Best method to take down a sniper is to dive from directly above and use the cannons. As soon as my jet starts smoking, I head back to the military base and parachute in to get a new one. As for tanks, same method applies, vertical attack from very high. Have to say though that destroying a tank with jet is not easy. My biggest risk is crashing, because you have to get very close to squeeze of a 0.5s burst and then pulling up. I usually go for a reverse loop back up, most players expect you to pull up normally. It takes me at least 15-20 dives to destroy a tank., considering not every dive is a good hit. Risky business but absolutely exhilarating.

here's a small tip :

takes 4 rounds with heavy sniper to destroy a single lazer

 

go to downtown where high building would make pilot is diffcult to see you , use sniper to damage it ( 1 magazine of regular sniper should destroy it )

 

Bring in the tanks and goes for jet hunting

 

if he crashed / killed , call mercenaries on him while he's still grounded

Nope, definitely not unheard of. It takes a lot of luck to actually land a shot though.

 

When I'm rolling around in my tank, a skilled Lazer pilot is the only thing I really fear.

You cant stop a skilled pilot, the only way is to go into passive mode or do like the noobs do & shoot at it with a sniper. But like the guy did, i also just go get another jet.

Two words: Heavy sniper. All good pilots fear one thing, and it's that. All you have to do is land 6-8 shots on the jet and it will be done-in because its engine will eventually quit-out and it will fall out of the sky.

Either:

- Send them a message telling them they're being unfair and that you don't like them. This is sure to make them think twice.

- Go into passive mode, stand next to your PV facing away from the jet and hope that you've got time to take one hell of a selfie

- Get out a rifle, MG or Minigun and start shooting as the jet makes it's run. You're not going to defeat them, but you might damage them enough that the next person they go up against could take them out.

i'm a pretty good pilot and honestly 95% of the map your toast...

but if you hide in the city i wont attack...

because i attack from a vertical position i have to be in range and i have to have enough space to pull up.

if the target is on a large road no problem,but if your surrounded by large building's or on a side road off the main roads i don't have enough time/space to pull up.

i find crashing intensely embarrassing so i very rarely attack in the city.

 

once i was involved in an epic battle....

he shot me,i shot him.

he snipes me i snipe him.

we race around the city,down to the airport/heliport.

he got a plane,i got a buzzard.

he kamakaza's me.i parachute out and then proceed to shoot him down.

all the while his crew friend is coming to back him up!.he parachutes out in the direction of his friend.

i head off in the direction off fort zancudo.

i get there just in front of the other guy and his buddy,and get a jet.i take off and head over to sandy shores.

at this point i bring up the map,the guy's are about to break into fort zancudo.i put a bounty on one send merrywether mercs after the other,then get off radar.

they're both near the tunnel on the west side of zancuda and i see them lineing up to jump the fence in their car.

they hit the jump and leep into the air,i swoop down and as they fly through the air i take them out with my trusty cannon!!!!

took um both out, had to pay there insurance though but easily my best ever kill.

we must have been battling for 2 hours.

only means so much to me cos they were both excellent players!!

truth is,i think if i had 100 chances to repeat this shot i wouldn't be able to do it!!

 

ps agree heavy sniper is a pain

I had a guy harass me with a jet and I went off radar, got to my house, and pulled out every car I owned one at a time and let home destroy them. After probably about 80k in payments he decided to leave.

You can only get out one personal vehicle at a time, so that's a lie.

I've shot down Lazers with heavy Snipers and get called a noob by said pilot all the time.. When the reality is said pilot attacked me while im minding my own business while i was on the ground.

 

 

Same goes with Buzzards. Il just whip out the mini gun and spray it till its gone. Then i get called a noob?

One shot from a Heavy Sniper and Biggles is f*cked, if you hit the right parts (flaps, tail). 2-4 shots anywhere and they're heading back to Zancudo for a new one.

I took down a Lazer with Buzzard cannons, pre-buff... If the jet pilot thinks his missiles are the best choice then it's not too hard.

It's worth tracking a Lazer with a sniper for the occasional time you can snipe them after they eject but before they stabilise/deploy the chute. That's always a rewarding shot

plus when they start getting sniped at they start doing loops and spins, it's f*ckin annoying as hell

*4 shots to make the engine smoke and it will then die after a a few minutes, 10 shots are needed to blow it straight up.

Well go get another one then, it does't bother me... It only takes like 4-6 shots bugger that damn bird anyways. Id rather just shoot a few times and bugger the silly bird troll away then waste time avoiding it.

 

I personally pull right over under some cover and start sniping asap.

 

Bottom line, Lazer pilots hate heavy snipers. Calling people noobs who snipe down pests is just a compliment.
