Coming from the guy who needs to pay 5k to steal a jet. LoL. I am positive you would fail, and that's why I'm not going to waste my time. I've dealt with skilled pilots because I know how to fly the jet. I've destroyed tanks with the jet before, and it's not easy at all. There is a very short window to actually fire the guns before you have to pull up, and then the tank can get one shot in at you to try to take you out in the air. Anyone who says it's easy to destroy a tank with a jet has probably never even tried to do it.

No, it wasn't. If you stick to the jets by the runway, the tanks never get close to you.

That's not what I said. Read it again.

Because I am a better pilot than you, with hours of flight time, and I know for a fact that it is not easy and that you are full of sh*t.

Rockstar lost my stats a month ago so I don't actually own a tank anymore.

 

From my experience, tanks will usually circle around blocks in the city messing up your line of site until your jet gets sniped by other players. They also do get to take a shot at you when you get low. I've taken jets out with the tank, and I've been shot down by tanks. It is not as simple as players say, and the ones who believe it is easy probably never actually do it themselves.

I met a good pilot ytd and he keep using his mini-gun to kill me. ofcoz I tried to shoot it down with my Mini-gun, however after 1.12 patch when his plane start damaging he can call Lester and easily get a new plane.

 

I also try to disappear for only 1 minute, trying to get my own plane. However he just keep searching me from the base, once i got my plane he could also auto lock to my Lazer...

 

okay so except passive mode, are there any chance I could revenge? I could easily kill him if I was the one who have Lazer.

If you are a low level, I would use the AK-47, or any sniper you have. The mini-gun is great, but the best weapon is the high-caliber sniper rifle. One nice shot can have him uncontrollably flying in one direction, and he cant do sh!t!! dumbest sht I've heard an ak47??? Dude I'd murder you before you even got a clip out of the ak like people said you can't do sht. If your dieing an he has the air an the ability to get more jets aka keeping your az grounded your not getting sht. If someone has it out for you an they are In a jet your screwed or you can grab a tank and hope they can't fly, all you have to do is fly over the turret nose dive on the tank and pull right back up leaving you completely out of their cannons range,,, can't aim straight up. You could use the buzzard if he's an unskilled player, you won't kill him, but you could annoy him a little with the missiles, but if he's good the best thing you could do is to go under a bridge or use the heavy sniper.

lol 5 guys in jets VS 1 guy in a tank... i always wait till in range before i actually shoot with my tank, and to make sure the jets dont hit me 2 much i choose to sacrifice 1 angle by hiding behind a big wall... so i only needs to watch 2 sides @ the max..

 

I use blind eye for the kills and i use off the radar for shorten the wait time for another blind eye... keep repeating this process and i guarantee you that jets get killed by a tank. if not the jet will eventually hit itself against a wall, or a crane or speed diving into the ground because they pitch up too late et cetera.....

Disable radar/minimap so that it only detects other aircraft?? I think that would fairly balance it out.

 

I mean the game as a whole, don't go turning your minimap off think you have an advantage, that would be just stupid and rage inducing. But as for me, if you;re out in the open you better enable passive mode. I can only face them when under cover with heavy sniper/minigun for heavy damage.

No jet cannon can be shot at safe distance from a tank shell, the shells have a much further distance.

 

A completely safe angle would be from about 70 degrees above the tank turret.

No, he means , that with the new lester call. You can keep authorities and military personnel off of you so you can get a jet easier. At 5k a pop for the jet which its funny to me if anybody actually feels like it's worth it to do that, knowing how many vehicles you will be destroying in the process of using one. Note to players, I am an excellent jet pilot, but if you are in an expensive vehicle (That I usually measure by how fast you are moving) I most likely wont hit you unless I have a personal vendetta, or a bounty on you. Nobody likes losing money...

No. The new lester call thing where it is 5k to take the cops off you is a joke. It is ridiculously easy to take a jet out of the base without them. I only use the 5k lester call if I think I'm going to be killing scrubs on the ground for a while.

Yes it is. Especially when you go off radar.

 

You are right, It can be easy to destroy a tank when you go off radar, but if you are in a jet..and I am on the ground. I can hear you (and most of the time an NPC, thinking its someone in a jet) in the air from many miles away and all I have to do then is look up. This is because I wear a Turtle Beach headset, sometimes I can pick up the slightest sounds that give you away. Sometimes I assume other people do the same, I don't go off radar most of the time, but I keep my distance and watch for their mistakes and then punish.

Rinse and repeat. *their weakest is in the back by the way, the black vent.

 

 

On a sidenote: The rest of the butthurt in this thread is absolutely amazing. f*cking relax, its just a game.

Use the Heavy Sniper & snipe one of his stabilizers. It takes practice & a few tries but he'll end up nose diving, if he's a stupid pilot, he'll even stay in the plane

Look, I don't really care about wall breach glitches like some of you. In fact, these were some of the first ever glitches I ever had fun with in gaming going all the way back to GTA 3.

I don't understand how someone in a tank could get shot by a tank, all you have to do is attack directly from above whilst firing your cannons, and then fly straight back up so they can't shoot you down. As long as the tank is not on a tunnel, you can blow it up in 5 seconds.

Going off the radar can also help. In addition very few lazer pilots have the necessary skill to take out a tank without being blown up in return.

 

i hate to say it but its true, i see myself as an Ace but i got to thoroughly plan out an attack on a tank, or else, i will end up kamikazing, where if i am after a regular target, i can easily slide in, boom boom or pow pow, and mission complete, and i barrel roll away
