What should I do when I facing a P-996 Lazer?

Fortunately I play H.A.W.X.1&2, Ace Combat 3/4/5/6....etc

I am proud to say I'm one of those 20%, and I am very good in air-to-air dog fight

that's why I want a Lazer so bad

what? lol You can easily take out the A.i jet & when thats done you're a sitting duck in that tank.

Pull out the heavy sniper and start spamming, it only takes 10 shots anywhere on the body to make it explode , and only 1 well placed shot to destroy an aileron or rudder.

 

The Jet's cannon has a tiny range, the same as all non-sniper guns, so if you stand in an awkward position behind some obstacle they will have to pull up before the cannon is in range or they will crash.

 

Don't bother with anything other than the snipers, their range is way to short (e.g a flyby at top speed will only allow the minigun to hit it for maybe .75 seconds before the disappearing bullets can't reach it anymore)

There's pretty much nothing you can do to get away from a Lazer besides leaving the game or staying inside some obscure building while he flies around you. Being a jet pilot myself, I know the jets weaknesses. What I recommend is going into passive mode until he targets a different player, then snipe the jet. There's honestly not much you can do. Unlike Deffpony said, standing next to your PV doesn't help. I glitch my way into good sport lobbies and I have no cash so it only hurts the player if they try to send me to bad sport when I'm already a bad sport.

 

EDIT: If there's a jet, whatever you do, DO NOT GO IN A TANK. Your tank is worthless. A good jet pilot can take out your tank in one minute while being completely immune to your cannon. When I fly the jet I always stay out of the tanks range. The tank cant shoot straight up or turn around quick enough to shoot me down. If they're already facing backwards to get me as I fly away, I do a turn and they miss all the time. A tank will never take down a good jet pilot, in fact a good jet pilot uses tanks as target practice because they cant fight back at all whatsoever. Jet > tank, period.

reply to your second point find somewhere to cover, unless I was in the city, but too bad I was fighting near the base....

when I was the pilot keep killing people in the city, 99% of them dont even try to find something cover, which makes me can easily kill them even they are walking near the highest bldg

The thing is they don't seem to realize no good pilot is going to let you keep shooting their jet. & chances are if someone is in a jet they don't care about blowing up your PV, clean player or not.

Honestly the best way to get back at the guy is go passive and stand next to your PV. He will end up blowing up ur car getting bs points and paying for ur insurance but not killing you.

 

I had a guy harass me with a jet and I went off radar, got to my house, and pulled out every car I owned one at a time and let home destroy them. After probably about 80k in payments he decided to leave.

 

Better yet, if there's another player's PV around, go stand next to that. I always do that with tanks.

protect yourself by hiding under a bridge or something, them when the bastart fly by you, use the heavy sniper to damage the plane.

No, he means , that with the new lester call. You can keep authorities and military personnel off of you so you can get a jet easier. At 5k a pop for the jet which its funny to me if anybody actually feels like it's worth it to do that, knowing how many vehicles you will be destroying in the process of using one. thats something came from a skilled pilot.

I dont spend 5k usually because I knew Im gonna pay a lot more when I destroy someone's PV,

but in some case like personal vendetta I have to make sure I can get a new plane with no risk
