They have radio ads, and a website "under construction" and i found what looks like a mansion to me on the map. Next time u r in the game check it out and what u would pay AND what u think R* would ask for it. I'm thinking 4mil i would pay up too. The property in question is located across the street from the Northwest side of the golf course, has pond or pool with huge rock in it out front, side rectangular shaped pond or pool, tennis courts in back.

I think that's the "Playboy mansion" you're talking about. Not sure if it would be at some point for sale. Really doubt it though.

It's from the side missions it's not related to online whatsoever because r* wouldn't make a bunch of houses and even if they did they wouldn't put them all in vine wood hills

There were some scripts hinting that we could be able to buy mansions from Lenny Avery Real Estate in the future. But they were only scripts, so no guarantees there.

MANSIONS WONT WORK IN GTAO!!!!!

Why do people keep suggesting that this will happen? Apartment buildings have multiple units and multi level parkades to make multiple people living there seem realistic. You can't do that with a single mansion.

Yeah, that's pretty realistic, when you have like four apartments in one building and it housing like five more players at once. It's not about reality, but about functionality. You don't have restrictions on apartments, everyone from a lobby could have the same apartment, imagine sixteen identical apartments in one building (that has actually only four of those to grab). So why not have mansions the same way?

If you're talking about realism: in every game there are always a couple of people that own the 400 k apartment. Which means that very apartment is being owned by a lot of people at the same time. So mansions shouldn't be a problem then IMO :p

Mansions will not be an issue in the same way garages and apartments are now, They don't exist in the map (hence you have to transition into them, unlike single player where you just walk through the door).

It means outside space would not be useable, but interiors would be fine.

Just because its called "apt 400" doesnt mean its the exact same unit in the building. Everybody just lives in the same building, not unit. Atleast it's easier to call that more realistic

True, but with so many players online, even a massive apartment building isn't enough.

If you're only talking about a lobby, then yeah. But still, in the weird, crazy, stupid scenario that all 16 players have the 400 k apartment it would not be possible. The point is that sometimes you have to be a little non-realistic to get the most fun out of a game, and I don't mind that.

Thing is though: when you buy an apartment it says the exact number of the apartment.

For instance apartment 53. In that case you buy Apt. 53. If a dude buys the Apt. 53 he buys Apt. 53 as well, not 52. So yea, if it's called Apt. 400, people buy Apt. 400.

I get your point though, and it's a valid one. It's a bit difficult to think that multiple players own the same house, but it's possible. It's just going to be a bit hectic on the driveway, that's all :p

PS: I know that sentence about Apt 53 is confusing as hell :p

Yeah i think R* really sh*t the bed on that one. They should have just included the apartment name in the description opposed to and exact unit number. Oh well, still easy to tell myself that they're different units.

Yeah, that's true. They should've done that. No need to post the exact apartment number. It does give you a bit of info about the height, but they could've just said: (for example) Richards Majestic (low), Richards Majestic (high)

Exactly. Every player can buy the every same apartment with the every same number on it.

You can end up in a lobby, where every player has the same apartment number 51 (or 53 or whatever number). Full of reality there.

So why not have 16 players in one lobby have the same mansion, with the exact same address as others? It's GTA Online, not Real Life Online.

Haha that is so true :)

BUT STILL, BRING ON THE DAMN MANSIONS THEN!

Because then you wouldnt have your own personal pools and driveways and backyards and all that sh*t. Would be dumb to have some other player pull out of your garage as you're pulling up
