Kicking

Lots of people are kicking other people that they don't know in fear of that other person making there console freeze i know this for a fact cuz i do it myself, only person i can trust is myself and my online friends that aren't half a world away.

Yeah it's happened to me a few times too, why do people do it? Are they waiting for friends to join or some sh*t?

That and they don't know what the matchmaking option stands for, and too lazy to look into it. Or if you are high rank, their jealousy gets the best of them.

This pisses me off, but I already bitched about it a lot in the other thread. What I don't understand is missions are so short in this game, why even bother kicking someone? Play it through and set it to private next time you thickheaded douche.

Report them for griefing! After all THEY INVITED you to the mission.

 

It's a Noob move by players who are ignorant of the matchmaking options.

When I want to do solo races some stranger joins in before I close matchmaking. I suppose that's what happens when someone kicks you. Except that I never used the kick feature. i find it to be disrespectful. I would leave the race and start another one

some people forget you can set matchmaking's default in the online options menu before you even start a lobby.

 

I dont run into the issue of getting kicked from RR because the moment i join a random lobby doing that mission i quit

 

done that job enough to death and half the time people do it so sloppy that it takes 3x longer than it should.

As soon as I start up a host game, I instantly go into settings to the option to close the lobby. sometimes you end up joining my session before I can even click on it to "close lobby", then I close it and kick you.

Just something you are going to have to deal with.

Doesn't matter. How many things in life piss you off you could probably reply the same way "i could do it in 10 sec" it's still f*cking stupid on the hosts part an comes off as a dick move.

It's really not that big of a deal. Here, this could help you.

 

1) Press start

2) Go to the Online tab

3) Press Jobs

4) Press Rockstar Created

5) Press Missions

6) Go down to Rooftop Rumble

7) Launch Job!

 

Each time you do it, it gets a little faster!

I join Quick Jobs. I don't like playing solo yet I don't have anyone in my crew and my friends play during a different time zone. If I host...nobody joins.

It's just a bitch when you are just trying to play a job and it ends up taking 5+ minutes because you get kicked from jobs by stupid (children) hosts.

 

 

Yes it is annoying to get kicked before the job has started for no reason at all, I think you are right as to why they do it.

 

They are just waiting for their '4th' friend to join and they don't want 'randoms' in their job.

 

I got kicked from R.R. last week, I was like 'WTF' (it was too late to say anything by that point obviously).

I read on R*'s Twitter feed that you get a bad sport for being kicked?

 

I was thinking this would be from lobbies, but just checked back and it is getting kicked from JOBS!?.

Close your personal matchmaking options, then it will always be closed by default in the lobby and you'll never have to kick anyone. You can open matchmaking in the Lobby if you want someone to join.

Every random mission I enter I have a habit of taking note of the hosts name just so I can send him "LEARN TO [email protected] HOST" when I get kicked.

I will only kick people out if they happen to join in that split second it takes me to close the lobby or if they somehow join a private lobby.

set like this and you will never have to kick someone that you just invited again.

 

You can always open it in the mission lobby if you want to play with randoms

Its been happening for years, a group of friends enter public free mode in GTA4, everyone leaves and they decide they want to be on their own so they kick anyone who joins because theyre too lazy to make a private room

It's boring as f**k and I'm rich. At most I'll put up with it twice in a session and then start searching for other missions, even Simeon ones, and leave the noobs to mistakingly think they need to play Rooftop Rumble over and over again to make money - you don't.
