The Buzzard. Favorite Missions.

What are your favorite missions to call in your Buzzard from Pegasus?

When I solo I really like to do Trash Talk and Mixed Up With Coke.

Some of the Trailer/RV/Van missions its fun to escort but you must be careful not to kill the chase cars close to the objective.

I love my Buzzard and use it OFTEN.

i know one mission that is literately impossible if you don't have one "High priority case", no joke that mission is troll.

first time i played it i climbed up this huge ladder all the way to the top of the construction site as its the only way to get up there without a heli or plane, finally got far enough up the ladder to see the enemy's...they spotted me before i could even shoot them stuck on a ladder with zero cover i just got shot up right away....

Had one extra life left so i tried it again, bad mistake died even faster that time soon at i poped my head up to there floor boom head shot...moral of this story High priority case mission=Troll

So true.

All the missions listed so far are great with the Buzzard. Three more would be Defender (requires and provides a Buzzard so you don't even have to pay the $200 fee to Pegasus), Crystal Clear Out III, and Cleaning Out The Cathouse.

Yeah, once I used a regular heli to get up there and was able to get out and kill the first guys before they got me, then the rest wasn't too tough. Still consider that luck though.

Oh, and I also like the buzzard for extradition. Not to mention death from above, cops capacity, and base invaders when I feel like going the easy way.

I hated that mission so much. Too be honest I thought I had to pass that mission to unlock more. I finally beat it and when I saw how much pay I got boy I was pissed.

Actually, 'High Priority Case' can be huge fun without - just use a Merryweather chopper to get up on to the rooves (snipe from one, then land on the other to finish off and pic up the briefcase). Jump down, pull your 'chute, ...then hop into a decently-fast car with as much front/top/rear coverage as possible (my Vacca works great for this) to race away from the chopper/SUVs to the drop-off.

'Cleaning out the Cat House' is fun, plus it makes things like 'Blow-Up III'/'Crystal Clear-out III' stupidly fast. Even something like the second part of 'No Hay Bronco' - as ridiculously over-powered a solution as it is, there's something very cathartic about raining biblical-style aerial vengeance on those hapless gang-bangers...

I wanted to jump in and also mention Judging The Jury. This mission is totally doable solo and totally worth the money (for a first time completion) and totally fun. After that its just good Buzzard flying practice and skillups if you are not yet 100% flying. There is some skill required in knowing the spawns and making it in time so expect to fail if you scatter all over. Do NoT let the bus get a big head start.

^^ The bus isn't a huge problem because you're not on the timer when going after it. The one that spawns in northeast Vinewood riding in the squad car once the timer starts is the one you have to worry about.

My favorite jobs to do with the Buzzard:

Mixed Up with Coke

Base Invaders

Judging the Jury

Trash Talk

Rooftop Rumble

Crystal Clear Out

Judging the Jury

Unless you've got a full lobby, a Buzzard in this job is a must.

When I did it, I thoughtit would pay Base Invaders money, not a measly 12K

If you do all of the Buzzard missions in Free Aim you'll get more RP, and usually spawn in empty lobbies between playlists or individual jobs. Since I got my Buzzard for my 2nd character she spends almost 100% in Free Aim.

Most of the other grinding missions are pretty easy in Free Aim. I have a playlist with CCIII, Coveted and Potshot that's easily done in FA. (covetted is sniper anyways and potshot only takes 1 shotgun shot) RR is a piece of cake in FA, like shooting fish in a barrel.

There really is no other roof to snipe them from that's the problem its all just one big sky-scraper under construction, and they are at the very top :/

just redid this mission today, the payout is so not worth the effort.

Top of the Maze Bank Tower - you can snipe most of the guys on the upper level, and even one or two lower down, from the right angle.

Then just fly and land on the construction site - there'll be a couple of mooks to deal with, but once you get lower down, there's very little resistance, since crashing the deal leads to the two gangs shooting each other, allowing you to pick off the stragglers afterwards.

Payout's not great, admittedly, but it's probably one of the most 'cinematic' missions to pull off in style - as is 'The Los Santos Connection' (which is made so much easier to do solo with a Buzzard...)

Mixed up with coke seems to be the only mission that can be done solo in a buzzard that compares to rooftop rumble in terms of payout over time/difficulty, since most other missions take way longer than RR and still pay less, whilst mixed up with coke can be done very quickly making up for it's lower payout compared to RR.

I agree with this. In as much as if you can take the first two trucks out quickly and not engage all the grunts on the ground then hit the helicopter and the other two trucks fast because you already know their spawns it can be worth the money. You better be sh*t hot with the Buzzard to make it a money grind tho.

As an RP grind and flying skillup it is very nice if u take the time to kill everything they send and then hit the last cement mixer in the unfinished housing development.

No Hay Bronca.

While the other guys took the coke to Gerald to start the second part, I picked up my buzzard and flew to the gang's hood and hovered until the yellow dot popped and triggered. I blew up all the cars and most of the gang before the other players got there. I let them mop up and kill the boss.

It was fun. I hadn't tried using it on the lower level missions.
