How To Skip Tutorial?

I have one level 32 character and I wanted to make a new one. I thought you could skip the tutorial but everytime I create a character I have to watch the damn cinematic and do the race so I just switch back to my regular character. What am I doing wrong?

I would do two things:

1 - On the Xbox 360 (no idea about PS3), go to your System Settings or Memory and remove system cache. Should remove all updates for all games, granted, but it would let you redownload the latest update for GTA V.

2 - I would just watch the small movie. It's around 2 minutes, right? Then race, rob a store or/and clothes shop, pick a package up, that kind of small stuff. It doesn't take too long to do the tutorial.

I'd go more with number 2 as number 1 could work and also when you pop in another game you got an update for that.
That's all I can think of is the latest patch being installed inproperly.
