Fix for input lag?

I've been playing GTA since launch, and as soon as I started playing I noticed quite a lot of input lag. Which makes driving and as I use free-aim, aliie bit difficult, but over the pas moths I've just gotten use to it, and simply ignore to the point, I dot even notice it.

 

But I was playing GTA at my cousins house, and his version was a lot kore responsive, and was much easier to play.

 

I don't have any processing effects on my TV, and it's on game setting

 

I play in 1080i, on a 1080P tv, (I use the old xbox so it uses component wires, not HDMI)

 

My console is very old one of the very first 360s. Whilst my voiding had one of them slimline ones.

 

I also experimented with a high speed USB stick, but that made it worse.

 

All my other games are bang on instant, never had any input late before

 

That's as much information I can think of, if anyone can help, it'd much appreciated.
