R* said on par with MCLA so we should have got on par with MCLA. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, technically you just have a Gameinformer article that is giving hearsay supposedly from Rockstar. Ever played the telephone game in school? Things can change when repeated without an exact quote. Also, "on par with" does not mean "exactly like." On par means at an equal level. Also, something so bold as "on par with MCLA" doesn't sound like hearsay. He has shown interested in big robberies such as robbing the bank in GTA IV, and can be used in GTA V's heists, so he would make sense. Hate to say it but it would be game over for Mike,Frank and Trevor. I'm pretty sure Max Payne is indestructible not to mention his version of bullet time is way better than Michael's. Don't even get me started if he bring pills with him, M,F and Ts best option at that point would be to move to North Yankton. Blastoise1994 Posted April 22, 2014 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Honestly, I think the fourth character slot could have, perhaps even should have, acted as a "catch-all", introducing various important non-playable characters into temporarily playable roles. I'm gonna' be totally honest here, I haven't played GTA V yet so maybe it's not really fair of me to judge or whatever, but from watching various lets-plays I say there were a few missions that I feel could have benefited from this feature. Several of the Trevor missions, IMO could have had Ron and Wade as temp selectables, Lester as a temp while scoping out that bank job, Lamar in a lot of the missions, but especially in that shootout mission near the end of the game could have been interesting, or playing as your hired gunman/etc during heist missions. If there were a fourth protagonist i feel it would've been a mexican male in his 20s that could possibly have ties with the vagos or martins drug cartel and the fact that theres alot of mexicans in LA and im actually surprised that there wasn't a mexican protagonist.
