Heh. With more complex games and rushed releases, you get this result. The problem exists with big titles.

You want to talk rushed? Please go play payday 2 it will make gta look like a flawless master piece.

But GTA is still amazing either way

The buggiest game you've played on this generation of consoles? For me it is. I've had more problems with GTA V and Online in particular than any other game. The entire PS3/360 gen has had more problems than any other, but GTA V has got to be the worst offender. Is it the same for you?

By the sounds of it you've never played Battlefield 3 or the Beta for Battlefield 3...

I played Skyrim not long ago and I saw a dragon flying backward.

 

I don't see planes flying backward in GTA 5.

 

Both are great games anyways.

Op must be young to think V online is the buggiest game ever. To think multiplayer components of this scale are going to be big-free is asinine.

 

That said, play Any Bethesda game on PS3, Saint's Row 2 or GTA IV on PC, Battlefield 4, Payday 2, Haze, Rogue Warrior, Transformers; The game & KOTOR2, among others...GTA Online is a masterpiece compared.
The fact most people have over 11 days playtime minimum should be a testament as well.

Remember that Skyrim patch that froze your console immediately upon hitting the water? But then, they fixed that rather quickly.

Bethesda is actually pretty good about fixing things that break the game in a relatively timely manner. Although there are usually issues that they don't seem to be able to correct, likely based around the relative power of the console. I can't wait to see how TESO on the PS4.

Hopefully the Bethesda division responsible for the Fallout games will up their game though. New Vegas was a mess.

Obsidian do not work for Bethesda as a division or subsidiary. Bethesda simply paid them to develop NV & Beth would publish.

 

New Vegas was the bomb. Way better than FO3 in every way. The fact a lot of people in Obsidian worked previously on God's Gift (Fallout 2) helped a lot as well.

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay was great and I enjoyed it much more than FO3. I'm speaking specifically from a performance standpoint. Nothing I did could keep that game from frequently freezing.

Skyrim runs perfectly on my PS3, for it possesses powers that I've yet to understand.

 

Both Fallouts were a nightmare on that console though.

 

Then you must have been lucky

 

I only played fallout on PC so I have no idea how it ran on consoles. F3 is still the best in the series IMO

funny enough Skyrim worked perfectly on my ps3 until i got the new DLS's for it then my frame rate went to sh*t, i blame the company's for sucking eggs at making and releasing new content, its like they don't even bother testing it before they release...

 

i feel like this is what rock-star did before they released the 1,11/1.12 patch, Hey guys time to beta test this new patch. Two Rockstat tester in a lobby, lets go see if we fixed the firetruck during the drive there they both freeze...ummm lets not mention this one to the boys instead lets just say its are consoles fault and go ahead with the release, so we can have more work down the line.

I always lol at the ignorance of GTA:O players. Be thankful you haven't played more of the buggier games on this gen.

Battlefield 4 had a pretty bad PS3 launch. You were lucky if you could play for 10 minutes without being disconnected. And the single player campaign is impossible to complete if you die in the second mission, because the game fails to load. (And that sh*t still happens)

 

Also, funny you mention. Just today, I randomly fell through the ground whilst playing Survival, and encountered the freeze bug for the first time while being chased in my Sabre Turbo.

Skyrim never worked well for me that's why I got the PC version,

 

R* probably did mess something up with the 1.11 patch that's why most players are getting constant freezes but they won't admit about the problem being on their end so they say its our "consoles' fault" Mine is just fine and never froze, even once until 1.11. This still doesn't make GTA V/On;ine the buggies game ever though, its just a minor bug that I'm sure will get fixed...
