yes. yellow entity passes u and smokes ur a$$ for 15-30 seconds depending on if he purchased the level 1 or level 2 smoke screen feature .

Besides the obvious stuff, it all comes down to track knowledge really, assuming we're talking about races without the "help the idiots win" mechanics. If you know where to cut the corners and where the apexes of corners are, you can shave off tenths of a second which will add up over the course of a race and allow you to pull away to victory.
