Merrywhether Helicopter pickup trick, does it still work?

Yea I'm asking about that trick where you can call merrywhether for a heli pickup, shoot the pilot and then hijack the helicopter. I tried it in rooftop rumble yesterday but after I killed the pilot i just couldn't enter the heli. I was in a rush so could have been that I didn't do something right, but I just want to confirm whether this issue was glitch or something R* fixed after 1.12.

Rooftop Rumble is still glitchy sometimes character wont get into the vehicle thats right next to him just keep trying from different sides should get in eventualy

No, you still can. Sometimes(don't know if it happens to anyone else) when you press triangle(Y) after you've killed him, it won't let you get in so you just have to press it again

Spam the Y button or Triangle, every time I play Rooftop Rumble no matter what vehicle I'm getting on (including my PV) I have to spam it to get her to move the right way.

Yeah I literally just did it a minute ago. I've had that happen where it's a bit funky about getting in though. Sometimes holding triangle will do the trick.

Yes it can still be done, and the problem it the mission itself, yesterday, I could not enter my own Personal Vehicle, crazy, but yeah I use that literally like several times a day.

lol, I used to do this all of the time until Merryweather yelled at me for abusing their staff. Now its a once in a blue moon kinda thing.
