Infernus vs Turismo

I have both. Infernus has quick acceleration, possibly the most underrated super car in the game. I hardly see this in freemode. Also cheap to replace at just over $5000

Turismo is the go-to childs car, just like the adder and the entity. Also everyone has it.

 

I have a infernus and i love it. GTA classic, beautiful looks and wing doors.

(I put myself in the "hipster" bracket, hate having the "best" cars that everyone has, I sold my Entity last week to buy a Cheetah - which is actually pretty damn good anyway, better than an Infernus!)

I try not to judge people by their car choice but I have to say I pretty much agree, I wouldn't say child car but just a car for people who don't want to be different. If you are someone who races a lot and want the easy option then go with a Turismo, I happen to think its a great car but seeing everyone driving it has made me dislike it a lot. I only own it because its made by Grotti and its part of my Grotti collection, I'll start taking it out again once people start moving on to something else and I don't have to see ugly coloured ones with dollar rims.

 

I also own an Infernus and I love it, its beautiful to look at, beautiful to drive, it just has everything I'd want from any car let alone a super car.

Well I'd class myself as a hipster, my muscle cars are the Vigero and the Buccaneer, I used to drive the Infernus and Surano as well. Fact is I do an awful lot of racing against some very fast drivers in top cars, I'm not bothered about winning races but I do like to compete in them.

Probably says a fair bit about my driving but I just couldn't control the Infernus well enough to keep up in 50% of races. On tight, flat tracks it was awesome but stability on bumps and elevation changes as well as the lack of top end on longer straightaways make it much less consistent. A bit of understeer on it too. It's still one of the coolest cars in the game and great if you're more into FR/missions.

I actually think the Turismo is a fine looking car. If you don't go all Hot Wheels on it in LSC....

I'd go with the Tursmo just for the looks. I cannot stand to look at the disaster that is a Murcielago/Zonda mix. To make such an iconic GTA car so horribly done is a shame. That Zonda rear is so painful to see. Not to mention that's what you're looking at when you drive it, lol. Ever since GTA4 the Infernus has been dead to me, and it had always been my favorite.

 

I can't speak of performance because I don't bother to ever drive the Infernus, but on the down side of the Turismo it's RWD and extremely low to the floor. If you aren't going fast a curb will stop you dead in your tracks. Can be costly.

 

I got a kick out of the guy who has opposite views of my own. I think the Turismo is the nicest looking car and the Infernus (by faaar) the most horrendous vehicle, all because of the rear. But hey, to each his own.

People are entitled to their opinions, I wish they didn't treat them as fact. I personally like the Turismo's looks- that is when they aren't painted like sneakers or a clown car.

 

My only beef with the Infernus is that I wish they had based it off of the contemporary Lamborghini's in the first place, and hadn't have just reused the GTAIV model. Which I must add, thank god for the Zentorno..

I have 3 supers in my garage. Entity, Infernus & Turismo. In all honesty, I love all three, they're fun to drive. Since we're on the tooic of the Infernus & Turismo; I do agree the Turismo is hideous but I just love it for its performance, nothing else. The Infernus on the other had has zippy acceleration & who doesn't love scissor doors . Bulletproof back too & looks lovely. You have the option to add a GT wing if you want to replicate a Superleggera

i would not choose between those two, they are both totally different. i have both, they are both my favourite car.

 

infernus: no car accelerates faster in the first second, there is no delay, u are instantly goin the direction u wanna go, (unlike all the other cars). its back is bulletproof, making it easy and fun just to keep people behind u all the time, since no car can really overtake, because u have the best acceleration, no adder, no cheetah, no entity, no coil, (no turismo) is goin past me when i troll the bountyhunters round the block.

and its the only wingdoor car

 

turismo: makes me horny looking at it. it has a powerful mid/endtime acceleration, which makes it nearly as fun to drive as the carbonizzare but with much more control on your back wheels. compared to the infernus u need to be a little careful with the gas to not spin out. but thats what makes it so attractive, its a real BEAST!

 

 

 

thats my opinion for FREE ROAM. races are a different thing, because i believe the stats are somehow different, my custom cars feel different than in free roam (no, not because of catchup).

Turismo is the ugliest car in the game, so I've only owned it for around 2 days after it release, and dumped it afterwards. Will never be getting one ever again, since it's ugly as sin.

 

Infernus is more of a challenge to drive, looks a whole lot better, and the acceleration makes it feel unique.

I don't think I've ever been in a Super race where an Infernus has actually won. 220/225 record and I remember Bullets winning, won plenty in my Vacca or Cheetah but never, ever seen an Infernus win. I expect it's nice in free roam...

According to your logic, you yourself are a scared little child yourself because you need a car. A bicycle, now thats what a fearless topdog rides. Nothing to hide, no cover, no auto-aim but people can auto aim on you and you will never be able to outrun a supercar. 'can jump over objects to escape though'

The Cheetah is just a great car to drive, which is kinda the point with a car - the Infernus has terrible breaks and understeer (hence the "block of wood" comment, it just feels unresponsive to handle), the Cheetah handles so sweetly I get about the same lap times with it as I did with my Entity, give or take.

 

The Vacca is a better looking car than the Infernus which also drives perfectly, doesn't have the traction off the line (like a muscle car) or outright performance but once you know that and drive accordingly it is still very competitive, I've won plenty of races which aren't all long straights with it.
