what this game really needs is a way to recustomize your character without starting at lv1 again, this should be added because i know there are some people who dont like the way their character looks or realized they had a permanent scar that they didnt see during the initial customization, so i think they should add a plastic surgeon in game which you pay for and then get put back into the initial character customization screen or even a real money "pay to fix option". Rockstar even said that in the yesterdays patch they added new better ways to customize your character, which people like us cant take advantage of unless we start at lv1

- No "retry" or "cancel" option until you die or fail a mission.

 

- terrible car/plane/bike handling

 

- No control over what kind of punches or kicks you throw

 

- 3 crashes on a bicycle and you're dead.

 

- No camping like in RDR.

 

- No RDR-style hunting/trade. Takes any sense of purpose out of the hunting.

 

- the text for button prompts and in parts of the pause menus is too small to read - on the biggest tv I've ever owned even.

 

- Forces a boring-ass stock market "experience" on you

 

- Forces the cell phone on you, but the camera won't even save pictures if you're not playing online. Horsesh*t.

 

- the prostitute 'experience' is offensively bad. They don't just hop in your car and get to it, it's a whole cutscene presentation that you can't cancel out of and it's just bad.

 

- They force realism on you in every aspect, but the cars twist/slide on an axis that's floating above the pavement.

 

- You die or get badly injured by slipping/stumbling on a slope, but flip your convertible with it's top down and you can roll around on the back of the car/your head like a turtle, and there's no visible damage.

 

- The cars handle more like bikes in the air than bicycles do.

 

- The explosions are all the same, an ugly effervescent black/yellow, and they transfer from car to car like a ghost. Not real looking at all. Compare them to the ones in Just Cause 2

 

- Compare EVERYTHING about this game to Just Cause 2, which came out 5 years ago... It's amazing how much worse gta is in many basic aspects.

 

- people catch fire like magic

 

- can't get out of a flying/tumbling car until it comes to a complete stop, and when you do, it's incredibly slow.

 

- Can't bail out of a vehicle, even at low speeds, without injury

 

- Near-invisible reticle

 

- Super-sensitive wanted meter, but you can't even aim a gun out a window without it firing automatically nonstop.

 

- No binoculars/telescope and the camera doesn't work offline

 

- Constantly pushing the ifruit crap and other online services even though there's no internet connection.

 

Way too many little things for it to be an accident. It's shady business and I won't support them after this.

 

 

Look at all the recent NSA/prism stuff... If you think rockstar isn't making money on more than just microtransactions, you're an idiot. Play the friend request/life invader mission a couple of times and look at the data farming stuff they're rubbing in our faces.

 

I was under the impression rockstar would be combining good elements from all their games, not just prettying it up and then stifling/throttling the control you have over everything...

I think a lot of you are complaining on a very, very high level. I absolutely understand some of the points mentioned here because they're absolutely valid. But some others.. please, i don't know what to say. And moreover, like what do you think you'll achieve by posting "like a bitch yo homie tha shizzle.." - i mean seriously? Some of you complain about them kiddies in Online Mode ruining your experience while some of you are obviously not able to put out your oppinion in a proper way?

 

I must say, that i am absolutely in love with this game (yeah haters, come on and bash me now..), but i do agree that certain things need to be worked on:

• As mentioned so many times: The Police behaviour. Sometimes it's absolutely not comprehensible on how you get a wanted level. My worst experience was, when i went to the summit of Mt. Chilliad with Michael, standing on the plattform and looking through the Binoculars. All of a sudden, a backpacker nearby called the police giving me a one star wanted level for what? Also, the Police is way too aggressive. They shouldn't shoot at you on one star and not even on two stars, except you point a weapon at them.
• The same-car-spawn-glitch which is highly immersion breaking and keeps me from getting back to the Game. This needs to be fixed asap!

But what disappoints me the most, is the fact that Rockstar only tends to the Multiplayer mode while it's obvious, that a lot of issues are Single Player related and so far there's no word from Rockstar, not even something on Twitter letting their fans know, that they're aware of the issues and they're working on them. That's not how a proper company communicates with their fanbase or customers, especially not when considering the fact that it's US, the players, that brought them a fortune in such a short time!

 

And last but not least: The patches or title updates themselves. I mean, i've never seen any other Game that tried to fix issues so desperately and making it even worse with every single update they brought out! That's a big thumbs-down from my side! Rockstar, if you need more time to fix things, then take it, but make it right!

There are some complaints I have. The insane police difficulty, above-average radio stations, trains that can't be driven and lack of interiors. Other than that and a few other minor complaints, the game does everything right for me.

No, it would just pretty much leave you out of the process. I'm sure that around 80 to 85% of the players at least have access to Xbox Live through a (free) Silver Subscription with which you could also download those Title Updates.

Pistol wiping my friend during an online robbery because we get too close to each other is f*cking ridiculous to say the least. They should clearly make it so you don't end up striking each other when aiming in close proximity to each other, f*cking stupid. Me or my friend usually die due to this ridiculousness. Having to stay well away from each other during the robbery is just hassle.

Wrong, i have bailed out of moving cars of various speeds many times. Injuring yourself during the process is obviously realistic and pretty much the same as GTA IV. Although, i don't like the animation of the bail as much as GTA IV's.

Ok, please explain to me how to save anything to the SOCIAL CLUB without an internet connection? Hasn't worked for me once since the release. yes you can look through the camera, and you can snap pictures, but you can't save them.

 

 

Are you saying the animation during the hooker sequences wouldn't be considered a cutscene? It's definitely not the same as the ps2/xbox games where the car would just start rocking...

Yeah, without an internet connection the camera is useless, i thought you meant offline as in story mode, it would be nice to have like a gallery in the pause menu for TRUE offline.

I didn't play IV enough to do the hooker stuff, I was comparing it to gta3 and SA.

 

In V, you have no control over the character aside from pushing the buttons you're told to press, triggering cringey noises, vibrations, and animations, but no movement that you directly control - and you can't drive away/opt out/cancel once it's started, you have to wait it out.

 

That's a cutscene in my book.

Why would need cutscenes for the prostitutes anyways? Honk the horn, they walk over, get in, drive, stop, f*ck, gone. Any cutscene like from missions is pointless to me for the prostitution. Just a waste of space, better off filling that gap with more missions or bug fixes.

The properties aren't interesting. Besides Trevor's airfield, most are legit.
There's not much/nothing shady going on in the back.
The owners are boring people (if you get to meet them at all).
Most of the missions are boring/average
What happened to fighting the competition until they give up or are eliminated?

How about starting your own business with crazy Barry?
You have to rob, destroy or take over the Weed Farm.
There are other weed stores in Los Santos.
Destroy them or kill the owners (and merge the stores with your new business and start your own line of weed stores).

Waste of space
I don't care for the mountains. One would have been ok. Two is too much and a waste of space.

The wilderness should have been bigger insted. With a couple of cabins and hillbillies finally leading up to a clash with the cult. The cult location could have been turned into a property (meth factory).
The poor ladies you saved from the cult are allowed to stay (read: work) at the strip club (also a property)

You went a little overboard with your description but I admit they could've done more with the game. I'm sure instead of designing the underwater scenery that almost nobody visits they could've invested their time more wisely. Hell, the story seemed pretty short.

I lost three characters and many cars. I am getting tired of purchasing upgrades to my cars only to find them not installed later after a mission or driving around for a while and changing vehicles. I have spend well over 500k or more in just vehicle upgrades which have gone lost. This is very annoying.

A weird thing that happened to me was at the beginning of the game when Michael first walks into his house.

His daughter is standing on the living room couch and his wife is standing on the kitchen counter with a bottle of booze in her hand.

I'm thinking, is this a glitch or is his family supposed to be really weird or what?

For me, on the first entry the daughter was standing on the couch and the wife was on the kitchen floor. The second time, the wife was on the counter. If I do it again maybe she'll be hanging from the lights or something. :-)

I am so mad right now. I got into a one on one deathmatch with someone and there friend, who wasn't on the map, kept killing me. But that's not the worst part! His friends kills helped his him!!! That wasn't a one on one deathmatch that was a two on one deathmatch!!!!!! I am posting this here because this is the first result I got when I searched for GTA V complaint form.

I don't care if no one reads this but I have to say, FIX THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!!

The whole match lasted maybe 3 minutes and most of it was me dieing over and over! Then, after the match they went ahead and killed me a few extra times! I couldn't make it out of the area and barely made it out of the server before I lost all of my money.

I've only played for a week or so, but to me, a level of depth seems to be lacking, compared to previous games. There just isn't as much feeling. I walk out of Franklin's house and it's like, ok, now what? Do missions or run around aimlessly.

 

For some reason it's harder to identify with these characters. I don't care about them as much as I do CJ and Niko. Maybe if there were more random things to do, or maybe there is and I'm just not aware of them yet; you know, like shooting pigeons, or painting over tags. And I miss the actual lists of vehicles to steal; so far there's only been a few from Simeon and you have to listen to him babble first.

 

Bring back the gym, and internet cafes (yes, some of us still want to live in the dark ages, haha). More clothing stores. Bowling. And why is nobody ever calling me to hang out? And what happened to taxi passengers who would get freaked out by your driving and bail at the first opportunity? Driving them around while they sit there silently (unless I hit something) is just weird.

Rockstar games, fix the f*cking police in this game! I get one star wanted level for exiting a cab, and then im chased by the police with two star wanted level for half an hour for running away.. For not to mention their elite shooting skills.. THEY ARE WAY TOO OVERPOWERED AND ITS NOT ENJOYABLE.. In some ways its cool with smarter police, but not when you cant even f*cking play the game without being shot down by the police as soon as you look at a person the wrong way..

Forgot to mention some other things i cant stand about the police.
1. THEY KNOW EVERYTHING YOU DO! Even if you are on top of f*cking mount Chilliad and you shoot a guy with a silencer you can get a wanted level..

2. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! After you've shot the guy, and dont forget that you are on top of mount f*cking Chilliad, you will see a police car after as soon as 5 seconds or so on the radar.. WHY WOULD THE POLICE BE ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN THAT QUICK???
