Can anyone confirm that the bawsaq doesn't work without an internet connection? I was frustrated enough having to restart the game to earn proper money in the first place, but apparently I started over for no reason, because I've yet to see the bawsaq open and the stocks you're supposed to invest in aren't in the lcn

- The shack/cable car on top of the mountain that everyone was so excited for isn't even interactice, it's a cgi sequense, and any time I try to bring a bike up it, the bike gets stuck/won't budge/won't come out of the cablecar.

Here are some bullsh*t examples of 1 stars I've obtained:

1. Parachuting out of a jet thousands of feet above the ground and I get a star. Landed on a roof with no helicopters around and the police still see me.

 

2. I get out of a cab and I get a star. Wait, what?

 

3. INB4 you get police helicopters on 3 star. It's bullsh*t, I got one on 1 star like an hour ago.

 

4. I'm out in the ocean and manage to kill a shark with my knife and I get a star.

 

5. You can't do any criminal activity anywhere on the map without getting a star. Dafuq?!

My 2nd post of the day.

I am still down with V but jeers they left out alot of things out and im really starting to think as to why has this happend is it sheer lazyness? or the fact to take our money and be done with it

and never ever with a rockstar game have i thought of the company that way till now.

The smallest things in GTA looking back at SA , VC , GTA3 ect have had far more than this new installment why has it lacked and held back. Ask your self.

They have basketball courts. Yet you cant play ball.

They have 6 Skate and Bmx parks. - Let us use them by adding for example a bar spin at least to the BMX bikes also there arnt any pegs on it to grind when looking bad at SA.

So much potential on the V map and its really F*cked up we cant use it properly.

I still think low rider cars with bumping up and down hydrolics would be great

The drive by shooting is TERRIBLE nothing except a non existant dot that can not bee seen bring back SA's drive by all at once 4 guys jumping in the car and shooting i really hope DLC will be for frankilin and we will see this happen and lamar will be by his side in this role, they did a great job creating the hood again but its far to quiet.

2. You did something else before or during that time that triggered you to get a star.

3. If you stole the helicopter you would no doubt get a star and next you probably got 3 because you took it while a police officer was inside it.

4. Shark killing is illegal and very realistic, but I can see why you are complaining since it is in the middle of the ocean.

I personally love the game, story is the best so far ( want more). BUT WTF is with not being able to drive the trains and blow them up causing some epic carnage? i want to take out a train and watch it twist n burn and pile up on itself then an oncoming train hit it and do the same.

 

The damage to the cars is great ( like broken wheels n sh*t) in my opinion Except the fact you need to hit a wall at 100kph to make a dent. i mean is it so hard to ask that the car wrap around a pole and sh*t realistically or the bonnet bend up when you rear end anther car. but the tank can blow up after running over a few cars as its so weak.

 

it would be awesome if there where more mini missions. for example (unless im mistaken and there is) old school mission where you steal a car and take it to the dock and load it on ships to get cash.

Blowing up the jets at the airport- be cool if there was more fire nd destruction, couldn't be to hard to make

impossible to get certain vehicles, like the big cargo jet that Trevor steals and gets shot down in, skylift, sea plane, where the hell is the black hawk from GTA4? and all the heli's blow up the f*ckn same. the fighter jet is not VTOL= boring

Rockstar has failed us! They only half listened to what we wanted. Hey Rockstar, can we buy proprieties, have a bigger map, customize cars, and rob banks, similar to San Andreas but in a much improved ps3 version Rockstars replies, " yeah we will do all, and much more! We will give you the best experience! We will even throw in YOGA, because everyone who plays GTA, at some point in time, while playing the game would want to just stretch their characters legs and arms!! We would even in throw in animals that you can hunt. They didn't tell you the part that when you kill a deer, you can't skin it or do anything, which defeats the purpose of hunting. We know, how much fun it is to buy properties that you can't enter.... This game has been one big scam!!! Rockstar if you are planning to make a successful DLC, how about you implement some features that we actually want: nitrous, tool shops (chain saw, screwdriver, and etc), clubs, casino, bring back the 6 stars wanted level!!!! (we want the army to f*ck us up). Best part about this game is the cops, right guys? I mean isn't fun that we could actually hide from them and escape, and then a minute later walk in front of their face and they don't recognize us.... what's the point of having and mask or changing license plate.... This game seriously need an expansion pack!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's an idea, when your wanted stars flashes, It would be nice if the police actually used a K9 unit which would go directly to where you were last seen, and start the search from there. They should also use police check points that would surround the area, from which the suspect was last spotted.

Yeah the part that they fail was the realism for when a citizen would report a criminal activity to the police. Example, if I'm in the forest and decide to shoot some dears with a silencer and no one around me to witness it, then I shouldn't be able to get a star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - No crouching - cover is only allowed on predesignated objects - no help from geography or objects you aren't standing against.

 

- No roll button, can't roll without a weapon equiped

 

- No "retry" or "cancel" option until you die or fail a mission.

 

- terrible car/plane/bike handling

 

- No control over what kind of punches or kicks you throw

 

- 3 crashes on a bicycle and you're dead.

 

- No camping like in RDR.

 

- No RDR-style hunting/trade. Takes any sense of purpose out of the hunting.

 

- the text for button prompts and in parts of the pause menus is too small to read - on the biggest tv I've ever owned even.

 

- Forces a boring-ass stock market "experience" on you

 

- Forces the cell phone on you, but the camera won't even save pictures if you're not playing online. Horsesh*t.

 

- the prostitute 'experience' is offensively bad. They don't just hop in your car and get to it, it's a whole cutscene presentation that you can't cancel out of and it's just bad.

 

- They force realism on you in every aspect, but the cars twist/slide on an axis that's floating above the pavement.

 

- You die or get badly injured by slipping/stumbling on a slope, but flip your convertible with it's top down and you can roll around on the back of the car/your head like a turtle, and there's no visible damage.

 

- The cars handle more like bikes in the air than bicycles do.

 

- The explosions are all the same, an ugly effervescent black/yellow, and they transfer from car to car like a ghost. Not real looking at all. Compare them to the ones in Just Cause 2

 

- Compare EVERYTHING about this game to Just Cause 2, which came out 5 years ago... It's amazing how much worse gta is in many basic aspects.

 

- people catch fire like magic

 

- can't get out of a flying/tumbling car until it comes to a complete stop, and when you do, it's incredibly slow.

 

- Can't bail out of a vehicle, even at low speeds, without injury

 

- Near-invisible reticle

 

- Super-sensitive wanted meter, but you can't even aim a gun out a window without it firing automatically nonstop.

 

- No binoculars/telescope and the camera doesn't work offline

 

- Constantly pushing the ifruit crap and other online services even though there's no internet connection.

 

Way too many little things for it to be an accident. It's shady business and I won't support them after this.

 

 

Look at all the recent NSA/prism stuff... If you think rockstar isn't making money on more than just microtransactions, you're an idiot. Play the friend request/life invader mission a couple of times and look at the data farming stuff they're rubbing in our faces.

 

I was under the impression rockstar would be combining good elements from all their games, not just prettying it up and then stifling/throttling the control you have over everything...

Online is pissing me off, I stay on for about 4 hours and make 200k and my rank goes up 6, I buy an apartment new clothes and change my personal vehicle, I get on the this morning and all my f*ckjng sh*t is gone!? It even said before I left that it "saves automatically" and no progress will be lost, so obviously the servers are f*cked up, but why play if it won't let me keep my stuff

Some of my Complaints

 

-Planes just do not feel right, you can not flare you landing like you could in SA instead your engine shuts off.

-The Fighter feels like a Hydra with the way it takes off almost right away in a very unrealistic fashion.

-The planes gaint altitude way to easy, even on very low speed on the slightest pitch up it gains altitude.

-Helicopters feel like they got weights strapped to the bottom.

-The Restricted areas are just no, Why is the gate opened for me when i get a massive wanted level?, Also why are some of these areas NEVER used?

-A cop car should not be able to stop a Boeing 747 in its tracks and prevent it from moving.

-Many vehicles just do not feel real at all.

-Is being able to climb more things or mountains too much to ask?

-The tram goes soo slow making it more like a decoration then anything.

-You can not steal the train or tram.

-Did Rockstar play too much Just Cause 2?, vehicles explode way to easily in a unreaslitic way.

-My biggest problem is the game is REALLY lacking Interiors, except for mission interiors witch can only be used in missions..

-The 737's at the Airport should be flyable instead of just rocks wasting space.

-The GTA Online tutorial race that is FORCED onto players is pointless.

-The GTA Online Ranking system is just bad, what happened to GTA IV's free mode where you could do any race or anything?. Why do i have to now level up to get things.

Most of my complaints have been mentioned numerous times already.

 

Heres what really pisses me off

 

 

1. When your player is knocked to the ground, he takes a freaking nap. Takes forever to stand up, and I usually always die because of this.

 

2. Hitting the L1 button to arm myself is a joke. Ill have the pistol selected, but when I hit L1 i have my RPG loaded. WTF

 

3. The police helicopters are a joke. Absolute joke. used to be fun shooting it out of the sky to get that extra time to run away. Magic helicopters spawn moments after, and theres no fun in running from them.

 

4. Switching characters takes way too long. They showed us in a trailer that it was instant. You lied R*. Liar.

 

5. Player dies way too easy. as shown in the video above a few posts. you cant even fall off a 3 foot wall without dying. ridiculous.

 

 

 

My final bitter disapointment.

 

 

Patches seem to cater to the online crowd only. when are the single player fixes coming? How about they at least tell us they are working on the issues.

 

 

this is why i dont play the COD games. Too many problems that dont get fixed.

2- Just shut down your support rockstar because i am awaiting over 6 days for cases that i can solve myself in 2 minutes give you the answer to and then await another 8 days for you to fix.

 

3- Suck whats inbetween my legs because i deserve it.

 

4- Give me back my Hard earned 1,300,000 And my rank 39 character back.

 

5- May aswell throw another 500,000 in my rank 52 oh wait your doing that damn. Makes everything okay then. oh wait no it doesnt you f*ck ups so stop licking ass.

 

6- Just because a load of new players on there 1st character on rank 10-20 are up your ass because they now get to start with 500k because us beta testers helped you fix your game that doesnt make it okay

Although some of the points suggested in this topic are valid and actually hold some weight, there's some people who are obviously climbing aboard the hate train and just straight up nit picking.

 

Example -

Most of the points mentioned are my personal gripes with GTA V Online but there is one thing which really gets on my tits. Now I understand the logic behind the Passive System Rockstar, honestly I do, having the option to go into "safe" mode while we go about our business in this virtual dog eat dog world of Los Santos seems like a good idea.

 

However, the whole mechanic is flawed to the point where it's actually useless. What's the point in activating "Passive Mode" when you can either be -

 

A) Killed while using a Vehicle of any kind.

B) Ran over quite easily, since the roll mechanic doesn't work in Passive Mode

C) Why is there even a price to pay for activating Passive Mode? You're defenceless to everything and yet if you so happen to get smudged along the pavement / shot / blown up... it'll cost you in total of $600 (500 Death 100 Activation fee)

 

In my understanding Passive Mode should be like God Mode except without the weapons but the only difference is that you're literally UNABLE to die at all. You take away our ability to fight back if we choose to use Passive Mode... that's fine... Charge us for using the mechanic... so be it... but leaving the people who choose to use this feature at the mercy of others online is slightly moronic.

 

Something else which made me giggle was the message you get if you've got a Bounty on your head and try to use Passive Mode. It goes something on the lines of "You can't use Passive Mode with a Bounty" which is ironic seeing as it doesn't work anyway

 

It's just safer to walk the streets with a fully modded Carbine Rifle in hand if I'm honest, everyone and their nans are out to kill you so why put yourself in a disadvantage?

 

Summary : Passive Mode = Easy Money / Kill for others.

Telegraph poles sh*t me. They should be the most LETHAL things when driving, instead I'm looking only to avoid shrubs that act like cement blocks. First piece of content that kills total realism In the game. Make it tougher to drive by adding real telegraph poles that will kill when driving full click head on into them. Don't have full telegraph poles that just fall away behind you like they are made out of the cheapest plastic.

 

The whole disappearing car thing is really annoying. Also things re-appearing like a whole fence that I just knocked down 5 seconds ago. Make things disappear/re-appear/reset after 24 In game hours, not when I cross the street.

 

These are my two biggest issues with a game that is brilliantly attractive and fun.

1. Unpatching patched glitches. Yes online character deletion, I'm looking at you!

2. The single player has been literally broken for many people since October 1st and yet not a single fix has been provided.

3. Failing to patch the infinite money glitch or demoting abusers of it, where are my bragging rights to my hard earned supercar when someone half my level has 10 supercars thanks to a glitch.

4. Inability to return to mission interiors. Why? Why the hell can't I?

5. Any and all online bragging rights to the Z-Type were stripped when it failed to cost $10,000,000.

6. I can't use freeaim in an autoaim session, again I ask why? I understand the opposite but why am I not allowed to put myself at a disadvantage on purpose?

7. Silencers do nothing and flashlights don't blind other players.

8. Fort Zancudo's wanted level is still horribly scripted and doesn't allow for stealthy exploration.

9. No custom radio.
