Funny thing is when you actually drive them you can barely hear the engines because they're so poor, I only have to have my TV on 1 volume for my games, it has to go up to 8 for GTA V to sound a similar volume to everything else and all my in-game audio settings are at max.

 

Talking of engine sounds how did they go from stuff as great sounding as the Feltzer or Bullet in IV's time to the gutless things in V? Even the bus has a more punchy sound in IV.

 

And does the Emperor even have an engine in V? It sounded superb in IV yet in V it is practically silent, not to mention piss poor and dull to drive.

I have already know the meaning of "expanded"..... They "expanded" the credits 

 

Today I have finished again the game, and the credits long 1 hour  The credits before, around 36 minutes.

Probably a few reasons.

 

1) Like the trilogy maybe a physical version wasn’t on the cards straight away and they rushed it out.

 

2) They assumed no one would care about a physical map because the game  is so old.

 

3) This ties into reason 1 and it’s the most likely. Pure laziness.

 

Personally I think the new box art looks tacky especially with the gold trimming. Are they trying to make it look “premium” or something?

I still have the steel book case I got with the special edition in 2013. It’s simple, but doesn’t look cheap and tacky like this one does.

A Windows version of E&E is now being mentioned alongside PS5 and Series X|S on the game's ESRB listing. Knowing how R* typically treats the PC platform, I bet they're going to wait until after the introductory price offer on consoles ends in June to release it, so it will be a mandatory $40 upgrade (even for existing owners) that is exclusive to their launcher for at least 6 months.

 

Imagine if this is indeed the case. Some people will have quintuple-dipped on V if they bought it for each console generation and both the old and new PC versions...

$6 Billion dollars in revenue and they don't even bother to print a map.

 

Or use servers, or use an anti-cheat. Or put even a slight amount of effort into updating the graphics of a ten year old game being sold brand new.

I don't like gun sounds and how they all feel similar. Even melee weapons. They all have the same kind of damage, sounds and animations.

There is like 3 or 4 sets of animations for melee weapons I think.

 

The one used by the knife, by the bat, the fist and the stone hatchet (I assume the battle axe got them) .

 

I don't think VC and SA have more but for the damage it's different.

Truly amazing another rockstar game that I dont want to buy. This trend is for me really shocking considering all previous games till trilogy.

I must say this again, police system in gta v is total ass. Sometimes i doesnt makes sense. They modelled around 7-10 police cars and bikes and they use around four in chase. Police blockades are just lazy as it can be. 

 

I played few openworld city games since gta v for example Mafia 3 and Saints Row 3 remastered and in both games this system feels more diverse .

 

In mafia 3 when is heat higher, normal policemens they just grab machine guns and come with full occupied squad cars sometimes swat trucks appear.

 

Same goes to SR but is interesting, there are undercover cars police bikes chase you when you are on bike. When I use basic guns, there is normal swat team, when I use heavy weapons national guards is deployed with police. Five star is just full war with everything imaginable. There are attack choppers, black hawk helicopters with special teams. No mentions when city is occupied with paramilitary organization STAG.

 

Compare this to GTA V with really basic police system. I even think that GTA IV used  more redefined system. Sometimes deployed NOOSE sometimes FIB diferent helicopters on different heats. In TBOGT they use better weapons for noose units.

 

GTA V just made every details possible like flip flops, but they made basic details pretty simple.

I think its over with GTA as land full of satire. Sad things is that they are altering almost decade old game to make it safe for anyone. Im reading some articles and Im scrubbing my head about priorities in enhancements of GTA V and it says a lot around society climate in USA, which was always for me some kind of mockery or normal society like where m living. I always find weird that they in USA almost ruined rockstar for cut erotic mini game but no for violence and gore...

 

These problems when you delete it they will not dissapear, they only stir the pot.

 

Also some view to history:There was Dictator Stalin, he changed photos when he executed some of his comrades. Guess what, they talk after so many years about these altering of reality and making this something like really bad example.

 

 

When you are making game for anyone your are actually making game for nobody. Because it felt into casual category and nobody will bother with them after so many years.

Rockstar will just Ubisoft itself. With everything.

 

Bad things is that rockstar have one GTA game for decade and its Online oriented...

 

There is no AAA game these days that have strong satire and and parody traits. Games are now for everyone and they play it safe, I dont think this will made difference if they put some GTA style drama into it but they dont want to risk anything. For me is now gaming on same boat as movies, boring without any strong traits. This is era of consumerism and PC so what can posibly go wrong... Short answer-everything and nothing.

Most of R*'s resources in making GTA V have gone into the "three protagonists with their own lives" gimmick. The protagonists' voice actors had to record the same voice lines for when they have to ride a taxi, they also spent a lot of time on their taunts and other voice lines. I appreciate the effort, but 3 protagonists was somehow overkill, IMO.

Vehicle sounds were mostly the same since GTA IV. I'm not a car enthusiast, but engine sounds lacked "oomph", and helicopter sounds weren't loud enough.

I've encountered quite a few drag queens lately. There were even female Vagos who sound like men.

Some of the weapons sound cool like the G36C, Aug, compact rifle, heavy revolver, SCAR to name a few. The guns just sound like toys.

did rockstar buff the police in this game? i swear they are much harder to lose than before. im replaying the story. and it seems that every time i get out of sight of the cops. there are so many around every corner. and helicopters come out of nowhere. all on a 3 star level. and they are even able to follow me ridiculously close that its hard to get away from them.  even when im using a sports or super car.i have been playing this game since day one. and it never seemed this difficult.

Only thing I know for sure is that they definitely buffed the Fort Zancudo defense. 13 year old me could steal jets easily from there on the Xbox 360, now every time I fly away in a jet I get shot down automatically, if I even make it into the jet itself.

It's so annoying and broken, 2-3 seconds after lift off a enemy jet spawns out of nowhere and shoots you down with an missile you can't dodge. The only way you can steal jets in the game is with cheats.

I hate how The Contract just ignores a lot of things from SP. First, how did Franklin end up marrying Tanisha? What happened to the doctor she was getting married to at the end of SP? Second, why would he even marry her to begin with, especially after all the sh*t she gave him? Third, how are there still O'Neil Brothers? Exactly how many of them are there?
