Bad Sport was implemented to stop this kind of thing happening. People don't seem to learn that going around causing mayhem is going to get you Bad Sport-ed.

oh i've been in plenty of times before, back in the early days it was so easy to get a bad sport, they have at least corrected that...just a weird turn of events that got me in trouble this time ..and why does it HAVE to double every time? real life isn't that harsh, criminals don't get their sentences doubled every time they re-offend, nothing like

 

You should have just turned your console off as soon as you saw the bad sport message.

I also call bullsh*t, I blow up sh*t loads of PVs and kill passives repeatedly and don't get that sort of bad sport.

Some piece of sh*t shot gunned me during a robbery as I was leaving the store and then wrecked my ride, so like any other player would do I tracked him down and killed him and destroyed his car, "eye for an eye" yet I was in the wrong WTF.

TO OP, I THINK HERE IS A GLITCH THAT CAN GET YOU OUT. WORKED FOR ME WHEN I GOT 16 DAYS BAD SPORT.

GO ROB STORE AND SHARE ALL YOUR CASH WITH ALL PLAYERS, LEAVE NO PROCENTAGE TO YOURSELF.

DO THAT TILL YOU CAN NO LONGER SHARE CASH. THEN START DO SOME JOBS TIL YOU GET 100 JOB POINTS, THEN START PUTTING BOUNTIES ON PLAYERS AND KILL THEM. THEN GO KILL PLAYERS AND LET THEM KILL YOU. SOON YOUR HAT WILL GLITCH OFF. AND IF YOU CHECK YOUR PLAYER STATUS IT WILL STAND CLEAN PLAYER.

FIND NEW SERVER AND, YOU WILL BE PUT IN A CLEAN LOBBY, BUT YOU WILL BE BACK TO BAD SPORT STATUS (ITS GLITCHY). NOW GO ROB STORES AND SHARE CASH IF YOU CAN, IF YOU CANT THEN GO BACK TO PUT BOUNTIES ON PPL AND KILL THEM. DONT LEAVE THE LOBBY!.

DO THAT AND CHECK YOU PLAYER STATUS REGULARLY, IF IT TURNED TO DODGY OR CLEAN PLAYER IN THAT CLEAN LOBBY, THEN CONGRATZ YOUR OF BAD SPORT LOBBY.

NOW YOU WILL PROBLY BE DODGY PLAYER, SO DO SOME JOBS AND SO ON, TILL YOU GET BACK TO CLEAN PLAYER, AND ENJOY

lol you're quite right, but doubling the sentance every time is WAY too harsh imo, just adding a day or two every time would have been fine...it's a video game after all, it isn't judge judy

oh you do trust me, i found out the hard way lol, i'd check your player status regularly if you're doing a lot of that

I didn't realize you could go passive with a bounty. I tried that last night and it told me it wasn't possible while I have a bounty.

 

It is/was possible with a glitch, i think.

 

I saw that happen once, about two seconds before I ran him over.

I never knew that, it must take a lot tho.. Me and my brother were messing around drag racing my dune buggy vs his injection at the sandy shores hanger and this dude kept killing me so my brother sniped him a few times then he went passive, so my brother got a chopper and killed him so many times, he finally just let the guy kill him so he could check the score and it was 30 something to 3...

that sucks OP but as far as i know killing passive only count toward bad sport when youre already in bad sport server...

 

on regular server your only penalty is paying the hospital bill, while killing a player in passive mode while inside the bad sport server give you a bad sport warning, you have to pay the hospital bill + 15minutes are added to your bad sport timer.

 

 

anyway, like i always say bad sport is THE worst feature ever implemented into this franchise.

oh i definitely did 'something', no doubt about that, just not sure if the punishment fits the crime...it's like giving someone 19 years for being drunk and disorderly

I blow up the occasional PV but don't make a regular habit of it or troll people.

Again, i don't think you bothered reading the original post, personal vehicles were not involved here. I always get the $2000 reward for good behaviour too, I think being reported by butthurt players is what does the damage, putting you perilously close to bad sport.

No people get bad sported because most people play the game like it's not about violence, so if you kill those people they report you, honestly the bad sports players play like GTA Should be. And the logic of you can blow up any car but another player is stupid. Nor does blowing up a car make you an asshole, you want to see real assholes then let's see you spend at least two days in bad sports, you'll see that blowing up a car is nothing.
