Can you set AI to be snipers, and will they actually snipe or just stand there blind?

 

Do the actors respawn?

 

Do we have any control over where our players respawn?

 

Yes, and you can choose how accurate/aggressive the actors are and even make them hostile/friendly to a specific team. You can have anything from 1-20 or infinite respawns. You can set a respawn zone per team anywhere, more or less. I put three hostile, pot-smoking scientists with baseball bats right next to the team start spawn and it's quite funny when you start the job with people who haven't played before.

 

They cap the RP from killing actors though, I got 50 per kill at first from my security guards but eventually you get nothing, to stop farming I guess. Shame, otherwise I'd just fill a field with clowns and spawn a minigun for u guise :D

 

If you want to be like Rockstar make sure you set a respawn zone overlapping highways (f*cking Maibatsu job...)

You can but from my experience I can tell you that instead of sitting still and sniping (despite being told to do so) they ran from their positions and engaged me from close range. Quite irritating.

I have read the newswire on dominating a capture tips...is there a link to a page somewhere for details on the specifics of how the 4 modes work exactly?

 

I have a job developing in my head but need more info on the modes to see what would work best.

Respawning cars are missing :(

 

Yes, I was hoping of making something similar like Strip Tease where you have respawnable planes which you could use.

 

Respawning directly in a vehicle is nice but I want it done differently, having a limited amount of vehicles parked at your base which respawn.

Place short props around them like small barricades and they will remain stationary. As long as they can shoot over them and not get out of position.

Just load up the creator and choose to create a capture job. From there it'll list the four types of capture jobs, and it'll explain how they work.

ballas don't appear in grove street, I shot up the culdesac but none of them showed up to bust a cap in my ass.

 

How do you spawn inside buildings in capture creator? What's the trick? Thanks.

No trick I just used the switch camera button and it allowed me to go inside of the bank wonder if I can make on. Inside of the fib or iaa buildings, I'm about to try it will post if you can or not

Good news you can spawn in buildings an make a capture doing one now in the IAA building where you have to collect the case then jump out and parachute down to drop of the case to the drop off area

No problem & ha in my bank one I placed 10 cops that stand guard the money bags didn't place any in the IAA one since there wasn't much room for them with all of the players,guns,parachutes and all

I'm really liking this so far and have a feeling it's going to get people interested in capture mode. The problem with it's initial release is they packaged it with too much other content so it kind of got overshadowed when it should have been the highlight feature of it's own release in-between DLCs, but now that the creator is out and people are going to be making their own stuff I think it's going to get played a lot more. It's a lot to ask for but let's just hope Rockstar doesn't go and verify a bunch of absolute garbage user created jobs.

 

My only problem right now is I have way too many ideas and don't know where to start - and I still have 3 deathmatches and 4 races to finish.

It's called hardware limitations. Look at everything else the capture creator can do. If they could have it their way I'm sure we'd be able to add in 10 of every vehicle.

 

 

 

Now a question for people more familiar to capture than myself - what mode seems to be the most popular for people who do play, if any of them are? I have a ton of ideas in my head but I wouldn't mind starting on something that might actually get played.

From past playings of capture people played the vehicles and the 1st option more haven't seen the 3-4th option yet played

It's called putting limits to control what's created. The hardware can handle having more than 5 different models, I assure you that, they just choose to restrict it.

 

It throws asymmetrical gameplay away and makes it harder.

I've called Capture boring before but I played two of the R* created Capture maps(one was my maibatsu and don't remember the other name) with a full lobby today and they were quite fun actually.

Can someone help me? I made a capture today and I'm quite happy with it, and people seem to like it. But after players take some duffel bags back to their base, no more spawn...and my goal for each team is six duffel bags so I can't understand why they aren't re spawning when the players take them. I might also add that 2 spawn at a time, allowing 2 different players to get one each.

Is this a glitch?

I might also add that 2 spawn at a time, allowing 2 different players to get one each.

had something like that happen when i played a bag somewhere, i couldnt pick it up and it would prevent me from walking the way it was at to fix it i just edited it and moved it to a more open area

I made a capture but where can you set the amount of cash? is there a option for it? i only gett 2800 in 2 diffrend captures that i created.
