If GTA online comes to PS4 I'd probably be fine with that, if not then no I wouldn't unless the map was incredibly well executed and GTA online as a whole was much smoother than it currently is.

I'd pay 70+ if it was in the next game, R* doesn't do map dlc (maybe interiors..but I doubt it), and with good reason. One quality experience; who makes a sequel to a blockbuster game and releases an entire map after release; those priorities sound backwards. I think the initial release should be whole shebang in terms of map, and than fill said map with content...there's so much potential in Los Santos; I personally wouldn't like it if a new map showed up when they could have focused on adding more to the already huge and generally empty Los Santos.

A new city is not likely to happen for the hardware GTA5 runs on now. DLC like TLAD and BOGT yes, New city will be the next game and is not gonna be for 360 or PS3.

I would probably pay the 20 for it, yeah, if theres lots of gambling available... But that would mean more cash card prority than there already is, and before you know it, they will cut pay outs and leave the gambling addicts feinding for more, draining them of their real life money just to buy more cash cards...

 

I think that leave open ground for a law suit, so i doubt R* would put out a las venturas or casino DLC...But who knows.

The amount of effort and cost that it would take Rockstar to create a new HD V-era city and surrounding map would be insane, so I am sure it won't happen.

 

But to answer the basic question, yes, I would pay $20 for a new city and map like that. In terms of relative value, one $22 cash card only buys about 2 special DLC cars, so getting a whole city for $20 would be an amazing bargain.

 

I would suggest that to keep costs down, Rockstar should just design the city and the appropriate functionality within it, and not try to make any episodic story.

A new city or cities can definitely be implemented, when traveling to the other cities you would most likely change to a new server.

I'd pay $20 for Las Venturas only if it came with the same desert San Andreas had. I would take my Sandking on some epic journeys! Also, that airport you get in SA (airplane graveyard) has jumps and some nice gymkhana spots. I'm sure it would be a very popular car meet location.
