Hint that thebankofliberty.com is used when you go to liberty city

i've been thinking about this but could there be an GTA V map expansion in the future that would allows us to go to liberty city or fly there by yourself and use the thebankofliberty.com in-game website for your money? it's gotta be planned. what do you think?

 

Be able to get missions from Little J, Packie, Niko Bellic, etc. i can imagine how liberty city would look like in detail compared to GTA 5

Yeah but they can do a map load when you're crossing the map to the north east. Turn off Los santos and turn on Liberty City.

And yes, I'm pretty sure the system can handle a little map extension, especially when other games have managed to cram in such huge maps like Test Drive Unlimited (which came out like a decade ago) and Just Cause 2. But If they're planning it, it most likely won't be made any time soon.

Well you can't do missions for Packie as he is already in Los Santos.

you're right about Niko's voice actor so there wouldn't be any missions from him. but what about when packie calls you and askes you if you want to come with him to liberty city and etc. kind of like lamar asked you to come down to Los Santos. What if our characters is from liberty city?

Theres already assets, Liberty City is smaller (specially if Alderney is left out), 5-7 GB more probably also $40

Actually having Liberty City as DLC is possible and it won't take much space, if all cars, models, and sound effects are from V. The whole chunk of 3d mesh itself won't take a lot more than megabytes. Textures needed, however, could be quite huge. I think it could be 100mb or 300mb in total at worse for the LC DLC.

 

I'm not sure if PS3 can handle such real time loading preparing for a huge ass town while you flying above the ocean, but I think it's best to buy a ticket and fly from the airport and let it load. There will be complainers, but screw them.

basically all it would do is put you into the sky once you reach the end of the map. Disables LS and loads up LC out of view. so once it's done loading. you'll spawn back in and your flying towards LC!. it's a short trip.

OP the game is already dancing barefoot on razorblades as it is. If I were the developers I wouldn't push my luck by adding more to it, especially map expansions.
