PS3: White Face Paint God-Modders

Twice today I have seen two God-Modders with the same-ish white face paint...with the same-old invincibility to weapons, but not attacking, just running up to and getting in my face...I managed to kill the second one by parking a car on top of him...

 

...have these people been around and I've just been missing them, or is this possibly the start of another sh*tstorm?

Nope. They've been around frequently. That's why I've been recently boycotting public lobbies in favor of Invite-only sessions.

I have not really came across any, only once, using the content creator glitch and then wall glitch, I was able to get them with a tank

I use public I lobbies 90% of the time and only seen them once.

Ive only seen 1 on PS3, he was banned

Saw one without the face paint on PS3, hit him a few times with my AR, realised he was invincible and legged it
