i died and my car got impounded

as soon as i got the message saying my car's been impounded i start driving to get my car and i get a message saying it's been destroyed and to call mors insurance. has this happened to anyone else?

Someone blew it up, probably with a trail of gas ignited by the spark from an exhaust. Or it got Bobbed.

The moral of the story is don't leave your car at the impound or the MMI building. Some scally-wags out there like to destroy them lol

Probably a stupid Bad Sport player got hold of it.

 

My advice is be very careful with your PV. I don't bother to use mine anymore, for fear of that kind of thing happening.

If it's impounded and you get inside another PV I think it gets destroyed as well.

I usually play in invite sessions only and I have had this happen to me 3-4 times, but that was before the recent update.

 

Edit: If I remember it correctly I didn't have to pay insurance when I called MMI.

generally I just called up MMI to replace my car, then IMMEDIATELY call the mechanic to "teleport" it to me.
