It's akin to someone being against the killing of animals, yet they work at a fur coat factory.

 

who said i hated it? all i said is that i hope they fail and the online gets shutdown. i think it would be better for everyone if they did. they obviously aren't capable of making an online game correctly. i understand that things change overtime, but the transition rocktar made from all of their previous game to V:GTAO is unwelcomed. they have lost their touch and are nothing but a shell of their former selves. i think it will take a major loss for them to act right. they have been too successful, and got cocky (with good reason i suppose...)

 

zelnick isn't making anything better. cash cards have manipulated the game in a way that currently makes them look bad, (but i suppose that it MAY get better overtime) but this isn't about me, and i don't have a problem with entitlement, even though i shelled out 3x more money for the game than most others. its about principle. but you know, even though im a consumer, i don't have the right to dislike something or else i'm bitching and moaning...

 

i understand that they find the microtransaction business model beneficial, but they made a lot of fans upset with their approach. they care more for their share holders than the people who actually buy and play the game. not to say that they don't appreciate their fans, but they just care about their shareholders more. even though they give out free content (not complaining about that!) i feel that they just... i don't know...

 

so basically for TL;DR

I dislike rockstars approach on cash cards, but i understand it. it wont keep me from playing the game and enjoying it, but it will make me look at rockstar differently now.

hopefully rockstar will do something that will make me change my beliefs and support cash cards. as for now, i wont buy one, and i will not advocate them.

God damn yes, let me start off. What are they teaching in school these days? I recently bought a banana slicer.

 

 

It's honestly the best thing invented since the iPhone 5, it's completely revolutionized the way I slice bananas! I'm shocked that our government doesn't educate the younger generation on how to correctly slice their fruit. Albeit the plastic its made from is quite flimsy but it still works better then the hammer I've been using, which let me tell you is nowhere near as effective. It also means no more throwing banana's into ceiling fans for my fiancee as she's not quite as adept at the hammer method. Banana slicing is one of those chores that no one wants to do, my fiancee and I frequently argue over who's turn it is to do the slicing. You know the whole "I spent all day with our son so you can pitch in and cut the bananas" or the "I worked a 12 hour shift do you think I have the energy to slice a whole banana?!".

 

Going to order one for some of my mates as christmas presents as they've been using old rusty slinkys to slice their bananas. The only downside to this invention is that as you can see in the photo it's curved from left to right, the majority of my banana's are curved from right to left though so I suggest they make a seperate model. I'd also worn Americans as it appears this banana slicer is only for metric banana's and doesn't work for the American imperial banana's.

 

I've been deployed to Afghanistan and it has nothing on the war I struggle with everyday in avoiding eye contact while eating a banana. If I eat it whole every time it enters my mouth I feel like I am being judged on my technique. Laughter stirs, people begin to point and shout "look at the f*ggot "eating" a banana!". Now, thanks to this product the pressure has gone! I whip off the peel, and place this on my banana and eat it by hand, in pieces, non judgmental pieces!

 

It also comes in handy when having house guests over, gone are the days where you would have to bite off chunk-sized pieces and spit them into serving tray for others to enjoy. Can't believe how much time I used to waste with a ruler and pencil, marking my bananas to get those perfectly uniform slices. I was terrible at geometry and trigonometry so it was hard for me to get exact measurements on curved bananas with a straight ruler. Then I had to go back and remove the pencil marks after slicing. There was always that tiny eraser smudge on every slice.

 

I think the government needs to spend less money on developing roads, heath reforms and focus on banana education without our schools. We need to fund projects like this as our younger generation may grow up in a world where they have to eat unsliced bananas. If God does not exist, then how is it that a banana fits so perfectly in this banana slicer? CHECKMATE, ATHEISTS!

I tried to host half a dozen lobbies for other missions tonight.. as soon as people arrived they left because it wasn't a easy money making operation like RR

When I bought this game for $70, I played single player for months and thought that it was one of the best gaming experiences in my 30 odd year of gaming. Well worth the asking price at that level if you care to ask me.

 

Only later did one of my friends tell me to dip my toes into GTAO. I was immediately amazed that R* could add almost another complete game for free. Sure. people without the time or inclination to make game money can buy cash cards, but by no circumstances whatsoever are you forced to do so.

 

I think most of this whinging stems from the Millennial generation, with their false entitlement and impatience for a game they probably didn't contribute one red cent to.

I think this just boils down to two camps arguing about Cashcards being bad and Cashcards being fine, "they're optional after all!".

 

The argument about them being optional is true, but don't pretend it doesn't effect those who don't choose to buy them - the cost of everything in game is inflated and earnings in-game diminished, plenty of evidence for that (non-repeatable good reward missions etc, - low reward ones can be repeated over and over??) and because of that GTA Online is becoming Rooftop Rumble Online, which is ruining the fun for those who really want to play "random" missions and I'm sure no-one enjoys grinding the same content over and over, it leads to burn out pretty quickly. The reason for this cost/reward relationship is totally down to Take-Two wanting more Cashcard sales, if you think differently I think you're a bit delusional.

 

I just wish they'd focus more on fixing the crashing/DC's that seem to be getting more and more common - if you buy a Cashcard and the game crashes while you're modding cars or just after (happened to me a lot actually) the money is lost - if that's your REAL money involved that then you'd think Rockstar could land in trouble unless they upped their woeful support pretty rapidly. It will definitely end up being an issue.

Your right it does effect them, stuff the updates with new cars, clothes and weapons are free rather then costing 5 to 10 dollars per item. If not for cash cards we wouldn't be getting all this content for free. To the rest of your whining rant.
