It's always bugged me that everyone calls the adder a Bugatti, but no one calls the entity the Koenigsegg CCX or the turismo a Mclaren. Anyone else notice this or want to explain why everyone owning their buuuugaatiii...............

I always call the Blista Compact a Civic, but that's probably the only other car I call by its IRL counterpart. Blista, to me, equals minivan.

Because it is more clear. Adder is just about the literal onomatopoeia of a stutter, where as Bugatti is a pretty naturally enunciated word. I always call it the Bugatti but I honestly couldn't tell you why.

I say whatever feels easier to say, if that makes sense. I say Mustang, when referring to the Dominator. I say Entity, instead of whatever the hell it's IRL version should be.

I know most of these cars, simply because I play a lot of racing games and see them a lot. But I'll call them whatever I think feels better, and whatever I think people will understand more, when referring to it.

 

Yes, I say Bugatti. I assume most people know what a Bugatti is more than they do an Adder. Plus, like someone above me said, the Adder is a stupid name anyways.
