Does anyone actually use the movie theatres?

I watched a pre-screening of Meltdown before they'd even started shooting it.

In the first two or three days of online I used to go into them to wait out bounties or waste time until I could sell another vehicle. Some good shorts to watch. Haven't been in one in awhile though.

I've been wondering this because i have literally never seen anyone use this feature before. Do you ever use the theatre?

I watched my first movie last night in theaters. Didn't wanna leave the lobby for 5 minutes so I made Dtoxz sit down and watch a movie.

Love the theater, wish they were in better quality though. If there was an option to stream them for higher quality that would be cool.

I play as a female avatar and once this random dude pulled up beside me. Instead of killing me, he honked his horn so I got in. Dude took me to the movies lol. Afterwards he took me to his house. Soon as I went inside I pressed select and chose 'kill yourself' and left the session.

Good idea, I will have to try this. Every once in a while, I pick up a random and start driving around, and I don't know what they might want to do. At least the movie thing is something different.

 

I also have a female character, and a guy picked me up, and he drove to the bar with a darts icon. I thought, oh sh*t, how boring is this gonna be? But instead he started a fight with cops, and we had a standoff inside the bar against the cops, and that was fun. More fun than darts.

 

Does anyone know if the bounty timer stops when you're in a movie similar to how it stops when you're in an apartment?

Yes, I would really like to know this, especially if it takes you off radar. I expect that the timer will not run, however. It would be cool though if you know someone with bounty was hiding in a theater and you could go in and cap them.

Poor guy. C'mon, it's not like your female avatar's gonna lose her virginity, or have her naked pix show up on facebook. Give the guy a break.

 

Playing my admittedly hot female character, I sided with some random guy in a street fight and we killed a few assholes, and eventually ended up driving away after an unorganized bit of chase-and-crash. So then he drove me around a while, and eventually we drove into his garage, where I took some pix of his nice chrome cars.

 

He went into his apartment, and after I finished admiring all his chrome and lime vehicles, I followed him up there. Since I was all bloody from the street fight, I immediately went downstairs and took a shower. I think he liked that. Then upstairs we were hanging around with nothing to do, so I looked through the telescope so he could get a good view of my bikini-clad butt, and then I drank a few Pisswasers, and then got falling down drunk on the whiskey, at which point I staggered over and rubbed all over him for a while. I figure it made him happy. Why not?
