H1Z1 Zombie Survival MMO

f*ck it, I am bumpin this.

 

Recently started playing this, (King of the Kill version). Fun as f*ck, it now has 2 man, and 5 man battle royal versions. The "Just Survive" portion is a little boring. Usually the draw to these types of games is getting decent gear and it is a bit of a grind on the survival mode getting ownt by a f*cking wolf every two seconds.

 

Anyway did a bunch of battle royal and managed to get 3rd once, 4th a bunch of times and generally in the last 10 nearly every time unless I am just going on a rampage for fun. I did manage to win a 5 man on my first go as I luckily spawned in a team with 3 insane russian f*ckers with all pro gear, all guillied up, hauling ass around in a cop car. Not managed to win any others since then. But this sh*t is addictive as f*ck.

 

More people need to get on this.

I think H1Z1 has been abandoned by Sony and has now been taken over by another company? So free to play will never happen as they first intended and consoles might take a lot longer, not sure if that's actually true but i think i heard something like that.

 

EDIT: Don't get your hopes up for DayZ on consoles, instead try focus on The Forest which will come out for PS4 eventually at some point. That game is more suited for consoles.

Just won my first battle royal. Last survivor out of 160 other people. Eat a sh*t you scrublords!!!!!!!

 

But yeah, heres how it went down.

 

Parachuted on top of a multi story apartment > looted and actually got decent sh*t.

Ran north west to the safe zone and hid in a bush for ages > guy comes along and takes cover by a tree I 2 shot him in the head and take his ammo and body armor.

Map shrinks again I run north and sh*t a brick hiding in another bush > map shrinks again and I run towards a cop car but another guy in a pickup arrives and blows his car up after a long gunfight that lasted like a minute straight of gunfire as I hide behind a rock watching.

I pop out after he kills him and kill that guy and take his cop car > do laps round the area while the last remaining 2 guys close in.

Hide behind a tree right on the edge of the zone as I know I can't be snuck up on, > the 2 guys are having a gunfight as I take cover by a tree > other guy kills other guy.

I wait and scan the area and spot the guy and wait for him to move and I sneak up in his blind spot > throw 3 nades and go in to flank and turns out one killed him and I didn't even know.

I would put this in the gaming chat cafe i believe is what it's called but no one really replies so hope you don't mind that's it's here moderator but anyways yea so that's my question. I been thinking about getting it on steam but i would like to know if i can use a controller. Keyboards are so complicated if you ask me.

It may be possible with progams such as xpadder, etc. But by the nature of the game (same goes with DayZ and PUBG) you need the mouse in order to drag and drop items and manage inventory such as scrapping items and crafting. For basic movement it might work, but I don't think you could play solely on a controller.

For the life of me I can't understand why no one's jumped on this bandwagon for the console yet. Not necessarily H1Z1 or DayZ but that kind of game. I suppose you could say Fallout 4 came closest, but if I was head of a software company with adequate funds, this would be a no-brainer.

 

The console needs and deserves a first-person, open-world MMO - simple as that. And I don't buy into this crap about consoles not being able to handle such a game, not any more. Fair enough, maybe they couldn't handle the map size of the PC games, but that's about it.
