Coveted glitch

We were all focused on sniping the people on the Island and DIDN'T touch the helicopter and whilst we were shooting at the other islands we got the message "The Vehicle was destroyed".

Just thought I'd report that.

Ok, so you used the helicopter was a shield and got it shot up so much it broke?

We were like at the start point of the mission so we were no wear near the helicopter.

Sometimes the helicopter won't land.

 

Sometimes the pilot will get out and the heli will take off by itself, then about 10 seconds later the game realizes there's no pilot and the heli crashes.

 

It's pretty glitchy, to say the least

I've seen the cargobob land already smoking heavily, despite being nowhere near it and not having shot it myself. I guess the pilot must have hit something on the way there.

 

ETA: good to see people still playing Coveted now. I hope Rockstar return it to the missions list; I don't always want to play it four times in a row.

A dickhead could have easily shot the chopper with his sniper rifle.

Conveted is great for it's ease of accessing quick cash.

 

It's a playlist so I highly doubt someone would've shot it.

Since Coveted has technically been removed from the game, I don't think playing it is a good idea.

It hasn't been removed from the game if it's still possible to play; playlists containing it have never been a glitch or illicit in any way.

 

I suspect it's only disappeared unintentionally because Rockstar's automatic removal of low-rated missions etc caught it, since it's not possible to rate the original start menu missions.

No way I'm losing the only good way of making money when you're down the ranks and depending on invites to rooftop rumble, not doing those stupid missions. Surely if it wasn't there for players to play they'd of removed it from the game?

Came across a different one. This time all the players timed out and I was alone, I got to the stage where the chopper comes having killed everyone besides the pilot, however he never landed, just seemed to try land three times and then take off all around the area, top of the hills and the ocean, and then I was forced to just take the plane out.

sometime, those NPC down the hill near the heli will shot the heli when they notice you but still alive

I dont think this is a glitch, but more like a way they stops to stealing the container

also possibility that it is nerved as we speak They did the same with Rooftop Rumble. Why should they remove, multiple, popular missions?

My favorite method with a friend that we got pretty good at was snipe the first guy by the SUV, then 3 well placed grenade launcher rounds at the 2 SUV's by the heli and the motorcycles. He'd take out the guys near the container while I sprint for the heli. Quick shot to the pilot, then a low flyby without stopping for the container while he attempts to kill whoever he can before I deliver the container. We got it down to a science, I'd waste maybe 1 grenade every 3-4 attempts. Obviously, this meant taking fire while taking off and picking up the container, and yet the cargobob was never destroyed. So there would indeed have to be some sort of glitch, 1 in 5 of those NPC's might carry an mg, the rest are carrying small arms, would take all of them firing at the cargobob to destroy it.
