3 Best Sports Cars in GTA?!

It's by no doubts Jester, Elegy and whatever floats your boat.

I can explain why these 2:

— Elegy is free car with exceptional handling, requires basic skills to drive and produces stable result

— Jester is seriously understeered and stable due to that and has bulletproof back. Price tag is also a cake.

Common point: very easy to drive and very hard to f*ck-up.

There are really not much good drivers from my experience.

Buffalo MK2. With the right modifications, the gravel it pulls off the dirt will automatically make a tombstone for the RH8.

R.I.P peasants.

9F, Jester & Coquette. Elegy?!... Can't remember the last time one of those came in 1st in a lobby I'm in.

Elegy, Carbo, than it's close between the Jester and Coquette. The Banshee is underrated as well..

Every fair test has shown that the Elegy is well ahead of all the others around a track, I've tried it too - I hate the car but it's nearly 2 seconds faster around a 1 minute (approx) track like Cutting Coroners with a good blend of bends and straights. I don't like it and no longer own it but it's definitely the quickest sports car for racing. Lobbies and drivers are completely random but all things being equal the Elegy is fastest. Then Jester. Then it gets a lot closer but probably Feltzer.

I prefer 9F, Comet and Rapid GT in that order, but the Feltzer and Carbonizzare are really good too. The Rapid GT maybe is not that good but i like it, even if it doesn't turn as good.

9F is really really really easy to drive fast.

I do like the Elegy, the Banshee and the Coquette but I don't find any reason to choose them over others. Specially the Elegy, crappy brakes and you can't sell it anymore so any money you put in it in mods you won't recover any at all if you decide you don't want it anymore.

Jester is good but very expensive and the 9F seems better to me.

Corquette is a beast, try it and you won't need anything else. I have 2 incase 1 gets impounded

I would give the Elegy top honors in the sports class. The Jester comes in second.

For me, third would be the Surano. It's a beast on long straight tracks. Nothing like hearing Carbo owners cry as I pull past them on the Long Haul II.

Doesn't the 9F have the best stats overall?

Top speed 8.3 Brake 3.3 Accel 8.3 Handling 7.7

Elegy has no brakes at 1.7

Technically, yes. However the plastic-light weight the car has makes it a bit..inadvisable in public races.

She's definitely a pedigree car, one of the best in Sports provided she doesnt get roughed up.

I would say 1. Elegy, 2. Jester, and 3. 9F.

Whatever suits your style.

Some sports cars suit a more amateur skill level. Elegy, Feltzer, coquette and jester come to mind.

Some suit a higher skill level. Comet, carbonizarre, banshee.

Most folks prefer the easier cars to drive, as they can get a result pretty quickly, whereas the harder skill level cars take time to master, but are so much more rewarding when achieved.

Comet and carbonizarre ftw everyday

The second best driver in an Elegy will smash the very best driver in a Carbonizzare ten times out of ten. Hell, the third best driver could do it.

Am I the only one who thinks the Elegy has one of the worst turning radius' of the Sports?

Why do I never see the Elegy at the top of the podium at the end of races then?

The three I use for racing are the Elegy, the Jester, and the Banshee.

I see it there all the time. In fact, most of the time I'm the one driving it.

Yeah. How about Wolf and I race you, then you'll see the Elegy go 1 and 2.

Admittedly, I don't have much experience with sports cars beyond the Elegy. I like the Comet and Feltzer, but I find that both of those cars spin out at the bat of an eyelash, and don't even think about driving those 2 if the rain is falling. I also owned a Rapid GT, but those things can't turn for sh*t.

Lately I have taken a liking to the Surano, but I haven't really driven it enough to know if it's something I plan on buying. Also considering buying a Jester, but I won't even cross that bridge until the high life update comes. My garage is full.

Coquette anyone?

I really like the corquette infact I even wondered if I should put that car in the and ask for best 4 cars, but sadly as much as I like the car the speed isn't that great, and the handling is a little off too similar to banshee or the comet, so yeah its a good car but not one of the best sports cars.

I use this forum post to see what's the fastest cars http://gtaforums.com/topic/690178-1000m-drag-race-the-ultimate-test/

lol dude for second I was shocked then realised its a drag race time, dude seriously if a rapid GT could ever beat a elegy or carbonizzer in a race where both drivers have equivalent skills I'd buy it and place it in my garage right now.

Sports class is pretty tight, I wouldn't say that a certain 3 cars are the best, there's a bunch cars in that class that can compete with each other. Jester, Feltzer, Carbonizzare, Elegy, Coquette, Banshee and Comet are all more than capable racing vehicles.

coquette and comet are both slower and have worse handling that the other 4 mentioned, also I find Feltzer to be a little ugly, but if I do get the space for it in my garage after the new update I might place, it as I'm not really a bike person I'd most likely stick to one bike regardless of how many garage spaces are given.

This topic always goes the same way. Once people stop boasting about how well they do in their favourite sports car against randomsr, you get some facts. Unfortunately that point is never reached. You'll find some consensus of opinion in here but you have to do a lot of sifting to find it. Broughy's post pretty much nails the actualities of the class.
