DaTwista
Just hit me now when I logged in here. Authentification RequiredA username and password are being requested by http://gtaforums.com/. This site says: "[[[serbian Cyber Army]]] GlenW0RM's Forum Account Hijack (COOKIE PHISHING)" Not sure what it means, I don't care either but the admins will probably need to check it. Here is the correct message, I typed the url out wrong http://gtaforums.com/topic/699928-wtf-someone-trying-to-hack-here/ Detective Phelps
senormidget
Just thought I'd create a thread in the correct section. There are reports in this thread (Edit: Looks like this thread has since been deleted) that there is a popup on the forums requesting usernames and passwords in an attempted phishing scam. Screenshot courtesy of AlexSniperBullet This is confirmed as happening on Internet Explorer and Safari for iPhone. It appears that Google Chrome is not affected. sivispacem
Phishing probably injected in via Google's AdSense services. Lots of sites including advertising providers have been compromised by the Heartbleed OpenSSL bug and could be used to leverage attacks against other sites. http://heartbleed.com Please report any further attempts or unusual activity. senormidget
Hey I've created a similar thread, looks like I put it in the wrong section though. http://gtaforums.com/topic/699932-phishinghijacking-attempt-on-gtaf/ There's a screenshot of the message in there. senormidget
Cheers. You'd think they'd have been smart enough not to put the words "Account Hijack" and "Phishing" in the damn message. -___- If they'd have just put like "This forum requires a username and password" I bet a whole bunch of people would've just done it without thinking. Detective Phelps
I just noticed that the adverts in the GTA V section have gone from the malicious type ads (BS such as "new steroid technique, no aging," etc.) to legitimate ones. The harmful ads were around since yesterday. Good to see them gone, for now... I'm on chrome, so I wasn't asked for my password. I only saw the BS ads. RiaJay21
Thought something was up this morning. I don't have photo proof as I turned my phone off right away and restarted it, closed all tabs etc. - wasn't sure if the issue was my end or not, but the same message definitely popped up. Saw 'hijack' and 'phishing' and took action.

You could be compromised because just clicking on it can insert malware into your computer. If you are using a family computer make sure you let everybody know especially your parents so they can change there passwords so nothing such as their bank, credit accounts are compromised and everybody else including you need to change passwords to everything you use. You may not have been compromised but it's better to be safe than sorry The heist man

sivispacem
When reporting these please give information such as a link to the thread in question. It's difficult to investigate whether this is injected via user activity or advertising content if we don't know where it is taking place.
