I gave up on intelligent conversation on the internet.

My original account I created was made back in February 2013, so I understand this place could be much much worse. My point was to try and inform the members who only post in 'troll' topics to be discouraged in posting in them because they most likely kill off brain cells.

 

 

 

I have noticed you do add to a informative conversation in many topics before this, even the more trolly topics. My main point is those who essentially feed the trolls. Solves nothings, creates more and more of it to the point i have to type this out. And considering the off-topic forum, essentially no one who needs to read this would have read it. My only point to that statement.

 

 

 

 

Actually, that's not entirely true about the brain cells part. We are sitting here reading and keeping our brains productive by doing so. Troll posts are just people that deliberately say something to strike at someone's nerves (and potentially start a flame war). Sometimes they can be funny. If they are dumb, i only read three words of it, realize that it is retarded, and move on with my brain cells intact. This forum isn't like watching Napoleon Dynamite. It can be entertaining. You should say in your research, that you have compared the trolls to Jimmy from GTA V. Hehe

Oh you caught me! Actually I bet reading the troll comments and getting a laugh out of them might help prolong the life of the brain cells (not sure but I thought i read somewhere that laughing releases chemicals in the brain that help brain cells). Haha!

 

But yes if they are funny I usually read them, but when they become stupid and unbearable is usually when I switch topics.

Yes, I'm on my phone and for some reason it refuses to correct when I type that in fast. Everything else seems to be correct just not "I've"

Edit: OT to avoid looking like a hypocrite, If this is serious I would highly recommend contacting another doctor and if you are dead set on riddling the problem contact the local authorities.

We need to have the mods come down harder on people who post stupid sh*t that doesn't contribute to the discussion. Things like Macros, people posting "TLDR" and "Didnt read lol!" should bet a temp ban.

 

Also, people making pointless posts like "Oh great another bitching thread" instead of attempting to refute said bitching.

I titled it very long because I did edit some things out before it made the final cut, also to cut back from the "OP This is longer than my dick, and my dick is pretty big. HEHEHE" comments, so they knew what they were getting before they came in ( ) . But I do agree I've typed threads that took me close to an hour and a half on a normal keyboard. And by association, this is the longest some of these mongrels will see on this forum. I am rather glad someone pointed that out,

Oh goodness, another who sees the same way as me! Teasing aside, I do agree to that completely, they contribute nothing but a quick laugh and most of the time not even that. It's like they want the problem to continue and grow off from there.

The mods really just need to bring the ban hammer down on the users who consistently go off topic, insult others or a baiting purposely. You wouldnt need to lock as many topics by banning those who get it locked.

 

I had a user follow me from thread to thread insulting me personally with no relevance to anything I posted. Same guy and it was always negative. Called me a murderer and a dumb uneducated killing machine many times. I reported him over 3 times, no reply from the moderators and he's still active on the forums. He eventually stopped when I confronted him.

 

But they're happy to lock threads.
