When was "apartment customization" confirmed?

I didn't seen anything about it on the Newswire, but everyone here has mentioned it. Apparently "Brian B." confirmed it? Who's that? Did he give any other info about the High Life update? Where can I read this stuff?

It wasn't to my knowledge.

 

The official party line is "new high end apartment options." Whether this means entirely new apartments as an option from the current set (as of 1.12) or whether it means new customization options in the current apartments is an uknown.

Brian commented on a support page about new properties. I can't recall if he said anything about customization, but he did mention new locations interiors. I read it, like, two days ago, I'll see if I can find it.

 

Also, if you get email updates from Rockstar, they included a small picture of an apartment with new furniture, so take that however you will.

So basically, it's confirmed we're getting some apartments with different interiors, NOT confirmed that we get to customize our interiors.

 

The second thing is just something the community wants, and therefore has assumed we're getting, even though there is nothing from R* that suggests that.

It's also possible that if you buy a second high end apartment, it will come with a different interior. Perhaps there will not be any new locations or customizations at all.
