Hold your horse everyone and put your fire hoses away. While not an immediate issue, rockstar have stated on their forums they are looking into this issue. The water cannon will most likely make a return.

R* has indeed stated that they will look into the issue of the Fire Truck losing the water cannon, however I don't think much will be done. Most likely, R* had to do with the water cannon going away. I don't see how they can release 1.12 and somehow f*ck up, in the process, of the Fire Truck losing the water cannon ha. R* isn't that stupid. You underestimate the power of being too busy on one thing to pay attention to another. R* have a history of taking their eye of the ball on minor issues to realise they've inadvertently screwed up something else. Prime example was the gusenberg people had bought. They were to remove it from stock in ammunation for those who hadn't bought it, but took it from everyone's inventory as well. While I'm not defending R* for their own stupidity, it is evident that they have a tendency to be ham fisted in implementing updates and dlc with out paying attention to any code they may be adjusting to make way for new code. In any case and in all probability the water cannon will be fixed by the next dlc. As for removing the fire truck I'd be pretty upset. It's on of the best drift vehicles in the game

What if I told you, my friends were in the lobby, and that I can't leave because I'm playing with them, but some asshole, comes around hitting me with water randomly, and I can't move anywhere, because I'm trapped, and trying to get away, but can't because I keep dying while in passive mode? Also, what if he kills me before I even get to pause and choose a mission. I tried that a couple of times and succeeded, but guess what? When I came back, I spawned where I was at first. I get spawned really close to them for some reason.

I have never trolled or griefed with passive mode but I use it fairly often when I pop out for a smoke break or answer the phone. Nothing is funnier that, especially with noobs, to come back to the console and some jackass is trying over and over and over again to kill you.

 

It's an honor that someone would go to such great lengths to get the firetruck and everything just to kill you as well.

 

And the funny part is when you get back from that smoke, someone is pulling up in a firetruck or just trying to kill you in general and KABLAM. You waste their asses...

I was heading back to my garage to get my off-road truck since we were having a crew meeting and climbing Mount Chiliad.

 

Also, the reason I didn't want to leave was because at the time, there were a lot of people trying to join since we can't have all 100 of our crew members join a crew meeting at the same time. I was afraid someone would join and take my spot.

 

Some dick who joined the crew just to kill people was coming where I was as I was driving back from my garage. He blew up my car, and drove off. I went to get my car from mors mutual insurance, but guess what, he grabbed a firetruck, and this time, he blew my car up again, and when I spawned, he shot me with water until I died, and kept doing it. After about 5 minutes of this, I just quit. They were coming, but they took way too long, so I was gone, and when I tried to join again, my spot was taken. LOL
