OP, your logic gives me cancer. I don't even have the patience to sit here and explain to you how wrong you are.

So, i'm just going to move on with my day and try to forget about the abomination of a post you created.

I keep hearing about these glitchers that are always complaining about not having stuff to do. Either I'm missing something, but most of the time it appears that the legit players bitch most often. "He shot me. She drove over me in a tank. His car is faster than mine. Glitchers are breaking the game. Waaaah." I feel like most glitchers are happy with what they got, doing activities that, although may not be the most profitable, are enjoyable.

But then when they're sitting on billions and are well over level 300, of course the game is going to be boring and all you're gonna have to entertain yourself is griefing other players...YOU RUINED THE EXPERIENCE FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO _________insert adjective_________TO PLAY THE GAME AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED. So what do they do? Go torment the people who don't want to glitch...I.E. the people you claim are the ones who bitch most often. But when you take the time to realize the circumstances behind it, are they wrong for doing so?

It's a revolving door. Glitchers/Hackers/Griefers complain about not having anything to do because they cheated their way to power, which leads them to torment and ruin the experience for those looking to play the game in the perimeters it was meant to be played, which forces those players to bitch about being griefed in free mode by said griefers, which in essence creates a demand to glitch/hack/grief to stay ahead of the curve. And the cycle will continue unless...

This all implies that said glitchers/hackers get bored with the system post glitching/hacking to the point where they would want to ruin the experience for other players. I have no sympathy for the bored player when it comes to this game, as at its core, it is a free roam sandbox game with tons of opportunities.

And that sentiment I agree with 100%. When it gets to the point where the only enjoyment you have in the game is making other users miserable...it's time for you to find a new game to play. Same thing for those who incessantly complain about getting killed in freemode when there's an easy and OBVIOUSLY remedy to if you want to play with others...but not have to fight others as well. And of course as far as cash cards, they don't hurt the balance of the game at all, and the people who say they do are jade, naive and misguided. (And mostly fall in the glitcher/hacker/griefer category) Generally...all of the above mentioned clear have some aspect of the game that isn't fun for them. If it's not fun, why keep playing it? Why keep coming back thinking that there might be the slightest chance that what makes the game un-enjoyable to you on a subliminal level is going to change? By the very definition that's "insanity". And for anyone who happens to fall into that mentality...might be time to consider finding a new hobby. Video games ain't gonna work out for ya'.

It's the people who glitch that make things expensive. If they glitch a billion, then R* will say, "We will patch the glitch and then make the car cost twice as much because they glitched for more money." So stop glitching, and maybe R* will be able to reduce prices of some things. But of course, all the little youtube bitches will still release glitches, and little kids will follow them.

This is one of the dumbest post I have read on here

Yeah it`s totally that and not the fact that R* wants more money and push their cash cards. Because R* would love to punish those who play legit, because of things non-legit players did.

CarimboHanky

blame it all on the glitchers and the hacked billions hahahaha

mate things were expensive way before the billionaire days.

hyperinflation in LS started on day 1... back then people didnt notice because mission payouts were good, then they nerfed the payouts and increased the prices, they keep doing that with every patch.

billionaire days felt so good because at that time we had the lowest payouts ever.

They stopped modding cars amd allowing them to be given to others. It that isnt because cash cards then what is

That's exactly what it is. Someone in another thread shot down my "because cash cards" reason for this by saying "they didn't do it for cash cards. They did it to prevent rich high level players from giving fully modded cars to poor low level players." I quoted what he said and added "in hopes the low level buys a cash card." It's blatantly obvious why R* did this.

Ever thought about the fact that you can give fully modded cars to someone who hasn't unlocked those parts? It's not just about the cash, think a little deeper before spilling this "ZOMG, Ca$H CaRDs" bullsh*t everywhere.

Well i wont blame money glitchers for the price of things ........I have been playing since a day or two after Online Play fired up, and the prices on items we had then are still the same today

I do think that the Price of the items was intended to encourage us to buy cash cards

and some of the changes like no longer being able to upgrade a car for someone else to sell proves that point

Rockstar took a different approach to DLC content than most gaming companies...... give the DLC for free (for now anyway) keep the price of upgrades and purchasable items high priced, and sell cash cards instead

People use glitches because they don't want to play hours of repetitive gameplay to buy anything.

It's glitches or cash cards. They choosed glitches.

They are UPDATES, not DLC...you HAVE to update to play, all they are doing is adding things to the game that cost money..."free DLC" would GIVE you the items, not make you able to purchase new crap...

This whole "Rockstar is so cool to give us new stuff" mentality is total stupidity, they only add stuff to keep people playing and buying Shark Cards to afford it all, especially since they KNOW that some people are so obsessive that they have to have all the new expensive stuff to feel "elite"...

The addition of a second property, coming up, isn't really because people want more garage space, it's because they KNOW people will spend tons of time and real money to buy and fill those garages with expensive, fully-modded cars...and the way they wanted us to in the first place, without a "stimulus package" or rampant money glitching...they don't want players, they want suckers!

All updates are "DLC's" or downloadable content. They just aren't giant add-on DLC's that you have to purchase. Rockstars matchmaking was bad enough already. They don't want to split it up even more. All new content comes through a forced update. Consider this game what you already paid for, and anything extra is a gift. And seriously, there are only a few games in history that have racked up a thousand hours for me, and those games are worth every penny. There will always be some snobby stuck up kid who complains that nothing is ever good enough, but they are insignificant.

Funny since even Rockstar themselves call them updates, because they are, it's a change to the game, a necessary update, not an optional DLC...just because it adds a new car or gun doesn't make it DLC...that's like saying a patch to any game that just fixes glitches is DLC because you "have to download it"

It is an update through a download. DLC means downloadable content. Anything you get from the network is a DLC. Go back to COD noob.

"Derp, derp, D stands for download"

OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD FIXES FOR A GAME THAT IS PLAYED ONLINE

Just keep on blowing Rockstar then, clearly you don't understand something so Goddamn simple; DLCs are never called updates, Rockstar calls these updates, and not DLC

They let you buy a tank that's practically indestructible and let you blow up people's PV's without paying. Face it, R* disabled giving low lvl players cars so they wouldn't be able to sell them for cash in the hopes that they would resort to buying a cash card. Edited by blk95ta

This is one of those rare times where, by chance, SFBryan is actually right. They may be 'updates' in name, but they are in nature, DLC (that is Beach Bum etc). They brought additional content to the game and, unless something has changed recently, you are not required to have ANY of them installed -except the title updates-. If you don't, you won't be able to play with people who do however.

But, at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether you call them updates or DLC as neither is incorrect and it is just a silly thing to argue over (in general). DLC carries with it certain connotations, not all good (most people will hear DLC and think how much it'll cost), which is potentially why they've decided to dub them updates instead.

Now there's only one thing left to do; dance.

Oh, I was more focusing on his assertion that "anything you get from the network is a DLC" - I thought he was including the content-free title updates in that statement. Nonetheless you are indeed correct when you say that neither term is strictly incorrect and to argue over it is to become needlessly bogged down in semantics.

On a more serious note, I reject your dancing GIF and replace it with the following:
