I would like to take this moment to contradict some arguments I made in a blind eye thread. Firstly this is a useless function with 2 maybe 3 exceptions. With the maybe of heists the blind eye is only good for armoured trucks and Fort Zancudo. With the armoured trucks it is tricky to actually justify a 5K security blanket, especially now repeat spawns have been stopped.

 

now contrary to an earlier statement I made you can pay 5K to break into zancudo, steal a jet and escape (very easy). This is a fairer justifcation of the blind eye (I'm waiting for the complaints to flood in about this).

 

To clear up one more point the blind eye is useless for store robberies as you'll be working at a loss unless you are lucky to hit at least 3 stores at an average of 1700 each and this would only give you $100 profit and an instant 3*-4* wanted the next time you rob a store without the blind eye (all in all pointless for robberies),

Its not worth it. Police are easy and it just contradicts the point of robbing stores or armored trucks.

True point, but at least with armoured trucks, some will see the 35%-50% pay-off as a guaranteed no hassle approach to armoured truck, but ultimately it is a flimsy excuse. Personally I would stick to smash and grab as well.

I did try breaking into the fort using blind eye. Although I did manage to get into the fort without getting a wanted level, got into the jet but I had ran over a soldier who had spawned right at the wing. as soon as I did, the wanted level appeared. I'll test this out but I bet, if you kill or attack a office even during blind eye, it doesn't stop you from getting a wanted level.

I've found it most useful for getting a free tank from the fort. I very rarely use tanks so didn't want to buy one.

Infinite armour truck spawns wasn't fixed. I see them more often than ever now so I've been getting a pretty nice chunk of RP.

End result is a huge disappointment.

 

 

At least make the cooldown longer if you don't like the idea of no cops. Or make it longer than 3 minutes. 5k for only 3 minutes of no cops is not worth. I rather have the police chase me, than paying 5k every time.

 

Yeah it can be handy for shootouts in FR, but to pay %5k every 5 minutes is a bit too much in my eyes.

Quick diversion but I am still struggling with this. What are the exact conditions to make an armoured truck spawn for the first time. I've had a couple of random encounters in invite only but the spawn frequency is sporadic as hell. Presumably repeat spawns are as before.

I usually see armour truck spawns when I'm in the way to the military base. I usually don't go after them because by the time it spawns I'm already in a jet flying away.
