Lethal Vaccine Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) Yea if I see I'm about to run out of Franklin's special and I'm doing 100mph+, I'll just slow myself down while still in the special, and once it does run out, I'm only going about 40mph. I've never noticed how different the driving was compared to the PS2 games I've played since my good controller stopped working and while I do have one that kinda works, sometimes it won't respond unless I hit the button real hard so I haven't really been motivated to play them recently. Â True. I just don't "expect" to be going 300 MPH or something stupid after I come out of the special, even though I know it's gonna happen. I really don't like how it works, tbh. Yeah, having a broken controller would piss me off and not make me motivated as well. Well, I have a backward compatible PS3, so my PS2 games and PS1 games work on it, and I got all my saves on it for my games and they also are backed up on my Computer. So if my PS3 ever died, I got all my saves backed up. But yeah, I just use my PS3 controller and I have two of those. Â The PS2 era games just feel "easier" to drive. I guess even more arcady than V feels. I hate how when you bump something in V, your vehicle goes all spinning out of control. That doesn't happen much in IV + Episodes, and the PS2 era games. Lethal Vaccine Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 Trevor + Train + R3 = lol  Trevor + Train + Taking cover = NO R3  I never use his special on the train, I keep covered and when I get helicopters on me, I shoot them down quite quick and continue to take cover. 49ssd Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) I use Franklin's a lot, makes missions where you have to shoot from the car a lot less of a pain in the ass. I use Trevor's if I'm really low on health. The only mission I found Michael's ability useful was Bury the Hatchet.  Trevor + Train + R3 = lol  I've got to try this now. Johan Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 I remember using Franklin's regularly near the first few missions but rarely did after that  Don't think I ever used Michael's except in one mission near the end of the game, and as for Trevor I only did it once in a rampage mission and that's it.
