How The ELEGY Should Sound vs. How It Actually Sounds

Not sure why so many r34's are being posted when the VR38 in the r35 sounds completely different to the rb26.

 

Alot of cars don't sound as good as they should. But to be fair, the vr38 sounds pretty average in real life. Doesn't have the scream of the rb26. Lets not even start on the 2jz...

So many R34's are being posted because the RB motors sound so much better than the VR38, don't get me wrong it sounds good, but the Elegy deserves an RB motor sound in the game.

 

Now a 1JZ would be perfect for the futo and an S50 for the Sentinels

I would of much preferred an rb powered r32/33/34 as the elegy rather than the 35 but oh well :(

 

I don't know about a 1jz in a futo, it already skids enough! I like thinking it has a turbo 4age in it.

 

I would definitely like to see it in-game though. Maybe a 1jz powered intruder? Or a 1uz powered rebel would be nice.

 

Unfortunately gta will probably never fullfill my jdm wish list :(

 

haha, maybe one day. SA had many JDM cars, you never know.

This game seems to have many Euro cars, but not enough older model Euros. and they all handle like crap except the Schwartzer

Very true, I remember in SA I had a ggarage with a jester and an elegy and that was all I needed!

 

I love the schwartzer. I may actually prefer drifting my schwartzer than my futo...but only when you shoot the centercaps to lower it. It just doesn't stop sliding!

You could say its an Infiniti Q45. BUT its a Karin which would make it Toyota or Lexus. It also has an engine that sounds more like an inline 6 than a V8, which the Q45 has. So that also points to a Toyota/Lexus. With that said, the front of the car (outside the obvious Q45 headlights) look like an early 2000s Lexus GS. The grille and bumpers are definately from the GS. The body continues along the Q45 theme but the rear end is 100% Lexus from the 1990`s.

 

Ideally, they should also stick a 1jz in the Sultan and Intruder. Sedan wise, it would be very hard to pick or me.

I'm heavily biased because I own a 95 Aristo/Gs300 but I definitely think it has some aristo/gs300 qualities. It's probably just me wanting my car in the game haha.

 

The intruder definitely needs to be faster. a 2jz would suit it perfectly and it would suit the aristo theme. Big 4 door cruiser with a 3L twin turbo straight 6...love em :D

Man, just imagine all the hate that the ppl driving Sentinals/Oracles/Felons would be spewing if they see a 1JZ Intruder fly past them :)

As a GT-R fan also, I'm definitely with the peeps who want a more aggressive sounding elegy, its such a turn off to be driving such a titan of a car but sounds like any other car on the road with stock piping (IRL).

There's also no muffler mods so it is what it is ya know
