What ever happened to "give cash"

Recommended Posts

All you can do now is to grab Felon / Felon Gt / Baller, modify it, get out, let your friend sell it. Do this every 48 minutes or ask your friend to make space in garage for modified cars to sell it later.

Why would you give someone money for tanks...

To help my mates out, if you had any i'd hope you'd do the same :/

I do, but why would I give them tanks to let them do what everyone else does, and grief? Buzzard is way better imo after getting used to it, and it could be helped to use on missions.

Doesn't work anymore, now you can't take a car into LSC that another player has modified

It was never enabled

Yes it was, people used the feature before, including myself.

Video of someone using it.

No money is transferred in that video.

It shows that you could actually use the function since it's now grayed out, it worked I can tell you that for certain that I transferred money to another person using that fucntion.

No that's when they got rid of that option completely. It was disabled a long time before that.

It still worked in the first place and was capped at 5k per 48 min. It was disabled with the emerging hacks.

Couple of my mates are pretty poor, i wanted to give them both 1.5m so they could get tanks (tank alone gets boring)

But the original option that was temporally removed? I thought...

Why shouldn't i be allowed to give my money away.

Should be crew/friends only as else a billionaire could screw someone who didn't want money. But you get my point, why was this feature removed?

There is an indirect way around this, while give cash no longer exists, share cash from last job is still there, and the cool part about it is that you can now share 100% of cash from a job instead of just a max of 50%.(Interesting that no one has really noticed this.)

1. Do a job, I would suggest Rooftop Rumble.

2. after the mission, go into your inventory -> Cash -> Share Cash and set the percentage to 100%

If you have a few friends that are willing to share their proceeds, with a full lobby sharing to one guy at a time, you can make 75k a Pop, then switch to the next guy, and so on and so forth.

Me and the friends have been doing this to help my lowbie friends and they really appreciate it, and no it's not an exploit, because 3 guys are not getting anything from these runs when you look at the situation. In fact when you stop to think about it, Rooftop Rumble pays out 75k to the group per run and that is alot of money when you look at it.

make sure your job mates are in the same session as you.

probably a good idea is to start a invite only session first THEN go into the job so when you come out you back into the invite only session.

This is ALWAYS the best idea when grinding missions. One person starts the session, invites the friends, and then start missions from there with your Online Options matchmaking set to closed so no one jumps into your mission from random join before you can switch matchmaking off in the mission lobby. When the mission is over everyone just exits out of the mission selection menu (faster than voting freemode) back to their session together. Repeat.

I've never been able to have that work. My friends and I are always in a 'friends-only' session. We play Coveted once, then go back to freemode in the same closed session. All of us have tried going into the inventory screen and the "Share Cash" option is disabled.

Blame the retarded glitchers giving people millions like usual. They are the reason for most of the removed features. Mark my words, if no one glitched money, we would have the give money feature.

It was disabled before any money glitches were found.

The money glitches were found within twenty minutes of GTA going online.

Even on the first day you could only give out a certain amount of money to friends. Before everyone was glitching they were still stingy, so don't blame the glitchers.

You could try and walk around with a ridiculous amount of cash so anytime you die people pick up the money. Apparently a friend of mine left his xbox on for a couple hours and he lost 500k just from people killing him and taking his cash(while he was standing still AFK-- how f*cked up are you people? lol).

You lose $500 per death and you get kicked for being AFK after 15 minutes. So this is invalid.

That limit didn't always exist and being killed and respawning would reset the timer.

Hmm, PM me your gamertag and maybe we can work this out, I know you can do it, I do it all the time for my lowbie friends.

If you give people a sh*t ton of money... they never have to work for it and will just end up sitting around doing nothing or trolling free roam. Giving people billions of dollars removes the need for them to ever do anything.

people already troll freeroam, as long as they have enough guns, ammo and cars, the major expenses are taking care of by level I'd say 40-50, those people pretty much have nothing better to do besides troll freeroam.

And I'm not giving people a sh*t ton, just a little to get them on the road. trust me after 4 and 5 rounds of getting NO cash, me and my high level buds are wanting to start keeping the cash at some point. especially since it costs about 2k in ammo purchases every time.
