What ever happened to "give cash"

Recommended Posts

You could never give a huge amount of cash anyway...

And best way to give cash now days with 3 or more players is to keep putting bounties on one player and let the other kill him. You lose 1k each time but I think it's the only way.

Blame the retarded glitchers giving people millions like usual. They are the reason for most of the removed features. Mark my words, if no one glitched money, we would have the give money feature.

CORRECTION:

If no one glitched money, we would have no money.

I think they disabled the option to give money away to keep tank wankers from giving their buddies enough money to become twankers too. There are enough dumb f*cks who thing they are playing Call of Dootie or Butthurtfield. This is GTA not a war game.

The only way round the problem I know of is for Player A to steal a high value car (like a Baller), take it to LSC and pay for lots of mods but don't put a tracker on it, then let Player B take it to LSC and sell it.

But that method means Player A spends more than Player B receives, you can't 'transfer' hundreds of thousands or millions in one go, and it can only be done every 48 minutes.

I read that that has been patched also now and the second person will get a message saying "this car has been modified by another person"

because of low level players with tanks. You said the reason yourself. The game is already unbalanced with players who have tanks. I myself can easily pay for one but I won't, it ruins the game when someone comes in with a tank.

Give cash was deleted because people gave others millions. Level 100 players gave level 5 players 2 million; so they could buy adders and such. This caused that every session was full of chromed adders... progress wasn't needed anymore; leveling wasn't needed anymore.

the goal of the game was destroyed.

This is why.

Wrong, wrong, the give money option was removed before this even started happening on a large scale. You were able to give money legit for like a week. Then They disabled it and then the money glitches started to happen. I gave a guy 4,000 for killing him and he was like, man thats the nicest thing anyone has ever done. Basically R* knew money glitches were going to come out but to help their cash card sales out giving money was taken out completely. If give money option was still there the cash card sales would decline exponentially.

I understand it's removal due to glitches but, why hasn't it returned?

It's still there just go to inventory> share cash from last job. Not sure about the limitations. I posted up in Q n A.

Isn't that option limited to robbing stores and armored cars?

Yeah except you were only able to give 5,000 max...

It wasn't "disabled" before they removed it completely it was just buggy as hell it would work randomly during the first week (never tried it after that) and only for certain people trying to trade. Chances are extremely likely that they never bothered putting it back in or fixing it because of all the glitched money being tossed around.
