if anyone is having trouble sticking the landing of this dive make sure you jump between the two lines that run along the concrete, they actually mark the edges of the concrete at water level.

Surprised I didn't see anybody mention the bridge my homies and I jump from. I don't have any pics but it is the bridge in Raton Canyon that a train runs over. Pretty tough dive, you have to jump in a certain spot so you land in the deepest part of the river.

 

It is a lot of fun with friends watching each other die doing wild stunts like this lol.

Can't you dive off of that green bridge near the airport? To get up there, you need to start from the highway interchange in front of the airport and walk up one of the cables. In SP, there is a rocket launcher on top of one of the pillars (is that the right word?).

just found this location before playing with Gforce and Infamous484, The greatest Dive ever its a hella lot of fun. people try this DIVE!!!!!!!

Can't you dive off of that green bridge near the airport? To get up there, you need to start from the highway interchange in front of the airport and walk up one of the cables. In SP, there is a rocket launcher on top of one of the pillars (is that the right word?).

Towers, actually, they support the cable between tower spans and anchors

Why does my character tend to belly flop rather than perform the dive animation?. At low altitude he will dive, the higher he is he just flops to his death....

I can't get my guy to dive over a certain height, and it's not that high.

I jumped out of a plane expecting to survive like in SA because I landed in water, this was not the case which shows great development the games physics and reality of the game.

Cargobob+ mule, have your buddy flying the cargobob and you standing in the back of the mule, knock the doors off of the mule first. We've done it at near max height over the Alamo sea and the dam.

Holy sh*t, the highest I've been able to dive is at the cove (coveted), I assumed there was a max height of 15 er 20 feet for the animation

Do those actions (including the ones that you missed out to make it seem shorter) include other players? I don't think so. If it's not a popular job then you could probably drive all the way round the map before getting enough people to play a 2 player death match.

Hes flopping around due to wind and resistance and such. You should be able to correct his path eventually but sometimes they get too out of control.

 

Make sure your exiting the vehicle properly or getting a good running start and jump.

 

Most of the time this happens its because of your initial sloppy exit or jump.
