People do not land helicopter on the dive spots, wh3n u jukp of your parachute will deploy, so i say go high jump out of heli use parachute to land on top then no parachute left. good ime. good puck on getting that clean dive NEEDED to survive the fall

I survived a 288 foot dive from the top of a bridge once. I thought I was a goner, but I was left with a sliver of health left upon hitting the water.

That's weird, I once jumped in someones backyard swimming pool from a Maverick's maximum height and didn't lose any health.

Our crew did this for a while, we called it Deadpool.

 

Fill a chopper with people, get up really high directly above a large swimming pool and then you all bail out, whoever free falls directly into the pool wins.

 

And you're right, it is possible to survive but you do die sometimes.

It seems like a good jump, but my guy refuses to climb the ladder closest to the docks and stops at the last rung of the last ladder on the other tower?

 

Any ideas?

YES just climb down two sets and go back up should work, happened to me before when i was trying to dive backwards! DOES NOT WORK

you have to enter the ladder from the wrong side (silly i know but you notice he swaps sides every time you grab a ladder, if you swap sides intentionally and grab the ladder from the 'front' he'll get stuck on the top wrung, enter the ladder from the read and he'll swing around to the front before climbing. I got stuck for 5 minutes before I realized what was happening.

 

I never survived the dive or even went into dive position, but I think that's because I was using my level 40 some not my level 160.

 

I f*cking smashed the concrete like 4 times though too, its a bitch to land but I wanna try again.

I noticed that my online stats said that somehow I survived a fall from well over 6,000 ft and I was wondering if anyone here know any good ways that make for a soft landing on land?

I jumped out of a plane expecting to survive like in SA because I landed in water, this was not the case which shows great development the games physics and reality of the game.

So I managed to survive a 'dive'. More like ass first ragdoll from 200'

 

2nd attempt... She actually tried a clean dive perfect take off form but about half way down he started ragdolling and bounced off some piping.

 

I'm still trying to perfect the angle cause this is a f*ckin risky jump.

jump from the corner that's the best bet to survive the DIVE but i have dived from over 5 places on the ma into water, not died yet well the 1st time i found the one i showed at first i did lose most of my health but didn't die

Nice find! Been looking for a new place to dive. I usually go to the train bridge at Cassidy Creek between Raton Canyon and Mount Josiah. Its over the waterfall, just take caution you can smack your head on the rocks below.

The big crane near eclipse towers is perfect for base jumping and nerve holding.....

 

You can get to the very very top of it - and as a bonus, you can snipe people going in or out of LSC before jumping.

Talking strictly high dives here people. Dont wear a parachute while attempting this jump. It's just too high

Made a Capture game last night on the high railway bridge (photo in sig below) and it made me think of this topic.

There is no real reason to jump off the bridge once you pick up the bag but, nonetheless, I placed a parachute on the bridge railing and people can't seem to NOT jump over it. It's like crack to them.

While chasing people, I've survived the jump a couple of times without dying (chute is not always available) depending on landing location (on top of jet ski below doesn't work).

High dives can also be done off the fuel tanks of cargobobs. Climb up there and let the pilot take you to the sky box.
