Police Auto Aim is annoying.

You pro free-aimers are such homo's. If people want to play auto aim then they should be able to do so and not be answerable to you jackasses. It speaks volumes that the vast majority of players choose this option.

 

As such of course there should be an option where players are a priority over the police. I'm sure most of us have been screwed over by this before, a player standing right in front you of, you go to aim and you spin around and shoot a cop directly behind you. This is even more annoying when the police aren't even after you, they are after the guy you're shooting at!!

 

I'm sure its an issue that can be easily resolved by Rockstar.

In a pvp game there should not be auto-aim at all.

It sucks being sniped by an Uzi from the other side of Los Santos just because someone randomly pressed LT and shot.

Don't worry, it takes a full clip to the head from 2 feet away to kill someone with the crap uzi. Pistol is better.

Ever had those moments where some random guy tries to kill you, and you shoot him, get the cops on you, then you try to shoot him again, but then you auto aim on cops and the guy ends up killing you?

 

Rockstar needs to add an option to remove auto aim like they had an option to remove auto aim on your friends. I swear man, I cant take it when I'm trying to kill other players and it auto aims on cops.

I play AA all the time. Its so f*ckin annoying and i will never understand why anyone would ever want to use it.

 

Nothing like having easy shots lined up only to aim and have it snap on to another targets. Is there any point?

 

I find myself struggling to free aim in AA all the time.. Might as well just shoot everything AA has snapped locked onto because thats what its designed for.

Rockstar has already made changes to it with the ability to stop you from auto-aiming with friends. This is not a ridiculous request at all. In fact it's a perfectly reasonable one with precedents, and it seems to me like the only reason you're here is to brag about how you use auto aim. Good for you, your aiming skills are awesome, we get the f*cking message.

PS: People "bitching", as you put it, about aim priorities is what got Rockstar to make changes to it in the first place. So yeah, people should definately continue to do so because the aim priority is flawed and it needs to be changed.

There is an obvious flaw in a game, i.e. the auto-aim prioritizing less dangerous targets over more dangerous ones. It is a legitimate complaint, no matter how much you dislike auto-aim. The fact remains auto-aim is the default setting, it's also the most widely used setting and therefore any flaws it has have a big impact on the game.

It seems to be moving in that direction, especially with Auto-Aim being called Traditional and the fact that this version of GTA is geared more towards Free-Aim than previous installments.

 

The overhaul of the aiming mechanic is useless if you're using Auto-Aim and then notice how there is no Auto-Aim used in the trailers.

It's not really a matter of learning to aim... I think you guys have reading comprehension issues.

 

the problem is that cops are too f*cking sensitive. Just now, I was driving a car I owned. I didn't run over anyone, I didn't shoot anyone. I drove PAST a cop car. I got one star.

 

Earlier than that, I had a cop give me one star because I bashed in a car window (did not steal it, decided not to) and I was in the boonies, middle of no f*cking where and I could not find anyone else out there. Cops show up. I run, no aggression, never hit anyone or anything as I flee. Instant two stars.

 

Guy shoots me, I shoot back with a silenced handgun. Two stars. Why is it like this? It's almost impossible to actually have free roam battles with people because every f*cking thing you do shy of breathing heavily can cause the cops to swarm on you in seconds. The police should NOT be this sensitive and attacking other players should not involve the police unless they are nearby. They shouldn't just telepathically know that you and another player are fighting. The police should not interfere with PVP combat unless they witness it. Appearing out of thin air makes no sense. The cops being alerted to what you're doing even if they aren't nearby makes no sense. It makes freeroam a complete nightmare because all you end up doing is either running from the cops or getting blasted by them for the dumbest infractions. ONE star should not warrant instant shotgun blasts to the f*cking face and they shouldn't accumulate stars so easily.

 

How exactly are we expected to have engaging PVP battles when most of our combat is spent defending ourselves from cops?

Free aim is obviously not the best solution because I like auto aim. The best solution would be Rockstar adding the option to set the priority like they did with auto-aim on friends. Also, I have no auto-aim pride, that would be even more pathetic than your free aim pride.

 

Now I'm really done with you. Go tell someone else to use free aim, maybe someone will listen to you. I doubt it though, since we all already know it's an option and we all already made the decision to use auto-aim.

Before they added Friends attack priority,people were auto-aiming at their friends in gun fights and that pissed them off.Bceuase Rockstar understood that,they added Friends Attack Priority.

They just need to do the same thing with Cops and Crew members.THATS THE SOLUTION.

Once you guys get your aimbot aiming prioritized you're just gonna start bitching about how you can never lock on to cops now.

 

The only reason I ever use AA is because R* screwed up big time making it default setting therefore the majority of players are automatically in AA rooms. Also racing is dead in AA servers, it's a joke to split people up in such a way.

free roam is a death match. you want to paint your car or change your panties invite only session. this is supposed to be grand theft auto, not mr. roger's neighborhood. the cops are part of the game but they shouldnt be every where at all times and almost instantly jump to a three star wanted chase. i could be wrong but i dont remember any previous gta title having every cop in the area, including helicopter snipers trying to kill you over a one star wanted level.

See, when i say free roam is not a death match, i don't mean its care bear land of hugs and kisses.

I mean, a death matches have purpose.. Thats pvp, with a winner/loser and a start and finish. Free roam is just the main world where anything can happen. While you can kill each other in FR you're better off in actual pvp modes that are meant for pvp.

 

You know.. the game modes where cops don't swarm players every 2 seconds when they kill leach other?

I play in auto aim lobbies because free aim is always so empty. There have been times when 2 people come after me and one has cops. I get cops for killing one guy then I end up locking on to a cop while the other guy gets a free chance to kill me. I've been killed a few times like that and it sucks because my L2 button is messed up so I cant free aim to avoid the cop, but oh well.
