every time a new patch comes out, go to the social club and re-authenticate your linked profile. i noticed that i get disconnected due to an unknown network error every time a new patch comes out until i re-authenticate my account. then it works fine.

He might have a point. I unlinked my profile as a test and linked a different one. Couldn't play at all. Error all the time. So I linked my regular one back up and no network/unknown error occurred in about 3 hours.

u can't fool me , moron !

here's the real one to repair unknown connection error ( albeit temporary ) . just turn off the modem for 11 sec then turn on the modem ( although , it still possible the error intact . perhaps caused cloudy or rainy ) . but sign out error is unaffected by this trick

I do remember that Arkham origins had the same problem with warner brothers ID. which also linked your game to an online profile, but this consisted of freezing.
