It was NOT for heists..

Turns out that creepy NPC that typed on an invisible keyboard in our offices was actually an intruder, and NOT a small feature added by R* to build up to heists, as many of us speculated.

 

In the latest 1.12 patch notes, Rockstar stated:

 

"Fixed an issue where non-player characters could spawn into player apartments."

 

Unless of course, they were referring to an entirely different glitch that I/we haven't come across.

Pretty sure they fixed the random npc spawning at our PC's.And anyone who thought that that npc was in any way related to heists, is dumb.

Um. Still could be for heists. But was unintentionally left in after a patch. How many NPCs do you see sitting at computers outside of your apartment?

Sounds like the issue fixes people being able to spawn into your garage and kill you, not the random NPC n your apartment.

If it was a random NPC, why wasn't he acting like one? Why was the NPC in the same chair, in the same room, doing the same thing, for everyone? If he wasn't added into the game by rockstar for a reason, why was the NPC typing at a computer? NPC's don't just appear randomly and start doing that. Hell, I don't know of a NPC that even types like that. It may or may not have been for heist's, but he was there for something.
