New rendering problem?

Played for about 2 hours this morning on the new 1.12 patch. Noticed almost instantly after I started driving the road would become invisible and most of the surrounding terrain would as well. This would only occur for about 6 seconds and would repeat itself if I switched session.

Not very game breaking, but I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing this same thing.

not that exact issue but I've noticed that since the 1.11 update that none of the city seems as crisp anymore, it is as if they have dropped the area around the player where the real rendering gets replace with the 'far away looking' rendering if that makes sense. I notice I'm virtually upon some places I want to go before they pop into actual existence for me to interact with. I'm thinking this has something to do with trying to ease the workload being seen/loaded.

Interesting, I also noticed in 1.11 that something didn't seem correct about the surrounding area when I was driving fast, but I understand its hard for the servers to catch up. Its like when I turned a corner and continued driving the surrounding buildings looked like they were over a mile away but they were right next to me!

This issue was like that but 10 times worse, so bad the roads would disappear and I could see clear across the map if I was high enough to see things under me.

well as I say I've never seen that exactly (and Im glad lol) but I'd say they are connected. The closer the change is to us would I surmise result in more visual mistakes being easily noticed.

I actually thought I was seeing things until it was happening constantly then I thought deffo due to the consoles limits that they have lowered the up close rendering.

Same here, also the game freezes every 10 minutes instead of every 20 minutes now.

Whenever it happened I thought I was going to freeze, but it just kept going. I haven't froze yet and I'v played over 2 hours in packed lobbies flying plains and fighting twankers.

I'm just glad we aren't falling through the roads like in Ride to Hell.

There's a difference though, GTA took a while to make, Ride to Hell was made in 6 hours :p Just kidding, but people complain how broken this game is when it could look like RTH.

This has been happening since 1.11 for me, I also get constant face rate drops and short freezes.

Yeah, I've noticed it. It's been doing that since the 1.11 patch for me. It only really does it when I'm going down the road in a fast car. Sometimes, it's frozen my game, so if it starts, all I do is stop and wait for everything to render, then I go on with my business.

It's only been occurring since 1.11 for me and many other people, other games played smoothly and this game did too before that update.
